Dubstep label Deep Medi will be hosting a live showcase at Camden’s Jazz Café this Sunday 10th November.
Following in the footsteps of label head Mala, who has been performing live as part of his Mala In Cuba project recently, several other members of the Deep Medi fraternity will be performing live at the event. The first artist to ever perform live at Mala’s legendary DMZ night some years ago, Japanese producer Goth-Trad will bring his hardware heavy live set to Jazz Café. Joining him will be Swindle, the grime-fusion maestro behind this year’s much loved ‘Long Live The Jazz’ LP on Deep Medi. Having premiered his full band live set up earlier in the year, Swindle’s performance promises to explore the Jazz and Funk elements prominent in his work. Rounding off the trio of live performers is A/T/O/S ( pronounced A Taste of Struggle ), recent additions to the Deep Medi family, who will be performing their sub heavy, mellow tracks.
Providing DJ’ing support are the consistently deep vibes of Benny Ill (Horsepower Productions), and the soulful stylings of Quest. Tickets for Sunday’s gig are available here, whilst you can check out a video of Goth-Trad playing live below.
