Exit Records boss and Drum and Bass legend dBridge is set to release ‘Mosaic Vol.2’ at the start of next month, the second compilation from the label.
Part of the label’s tenth anniversary, the compilation continues in the same boundary pushing vein as 2011’s excellent ‘Mosaic Vol.1‘, with exclusive new productions from dBridge himself and label staples such as Instra:mental, appearing alongside less expected names. Dubstepper J:Kenzo provides a sub heavy contribution and Machinedrum features on a hazy rolling synth jam in two of the compilation’s most pleasant surprises. Longtime fans of the label can look forward to efforts from the likes of Steve Spacek, Consequence and System whilst newer contributors to the DnB scene are represented by the likes of Elec and Dub Phizix.
Sticking with the label’s history of releasing forward thinking dancefloor destroyers and more introspective fare, ‘Mosaic Vol.2‘ looks like it should go some way to building on the success of its predecessor. Out on vinyl and digital on 5th August, a sampler will be released a week earlier on 29th July featuring Skeptical, Synkro, S.T.Files and Instra:mental.
