A stellar cast of DJ’s and live acts are to play the festival in the Yorkshire Dales next weekend.
Back for its third edition, Beacons Festival once again takes place on Heslaker Farm in the North Yorkshire town of Skipton. As with previous years, the line up is nicely balanced between live acts and DJ’s – with the live contingent spearheaded by Nico Jaar’s Darkside project, shirt-shy Hip Hop star Action Bronson, Mercury prize nominee Jon Hopkins, Stones Throw mainstay Dam-Funk, controversial South London outfit Fat White Family and South African Afro-Psych band John Wizards.
The dance music portion of the weekend meanwhile will be headed up by Innervisions label head Dixon, FABRICLIVE resident Daniel Avery and Dan Snaith aka. Caribou’s dancier alias of Daphni. Also joining them is freewheeling party starter Jackmaster, Berlin wunderkind Max Graef and recent Essential Mix contributor Joy Orbison amongst many others.
Affordably priced and with a full programme of arts events, interesting food on offer and of course great music, its no surprise that there only a few tickets left for the festival which runs 7th to 10th August. Buy your tickets here.
