CRATES open their tenure at Camden’s The Forge this Friday with a night of quality live music.
Headlining are Brixton based duo Nanci and Phoebe, with the Congo Natty collaborating pair delivering their modern take on Jungle with the aid of some killer harmonising and conscious lyrics. In support is Manhattan Soul singer Natasha Alexander, who pairs her dynamic vocals to beats by contemporary producers such as 9th Wonder, Madlib and Flying Lotus. Also playing are Brit School alumni Grace El Dabh and the Hip-Hop tag team Specs Spectacle and Rahmer One, with NTS Radio’s CKTRL spinning tunes on the night as well.
As with all previous CRATES events there will be a pop up record store running all night at the event for attendees to browse through. Entry is available on the door and will be priced at £5 all night. Check it out more info here.
