Colony Announces Collaborative Nights With The Quietus, Plex And Bleed

The guys over at Colony have announced details of two parties that are sure to turn the heads fans of a whole host of genres, collaborating with the likes of The Quietus, Plex and Bleed.

Friday 27 September sees the Colony go head to head with The Quietus in the haven of Hackney Wick for a joint 5th birthday party. To make sure the celebrations go off with a bang, the pairing have created a top notch line-up featuring headed by Sensate Focus and his  abstract approach to club music that makes you think whilst you dance. He’s joined by one of the most promising figures in the current UK scene, Beneath, and TVO, who’s set to bring experimental techno with a focus on bass. Factory Floor stalwart Dom Butler rounds off the line-up with his own gritty synths.

With ample time to recover from the previous bash, the start of November sees Colony return with a bumper night at Elephant and Castle’s Corsica Studio with Plex and Bleed. The night will see them host Room 2, featuring Pangaea in a special 3 hour set, ample time to give us an insight into his fresh take on UK bass music. He’s joined by techno stormer Kangding Ray of Raster-Noton and Stroboscopic Artefacts fame and London’s finest purveyor of Detroit-indebted electro, Plant43.

The whole line-up is a sight to behold, with the other rooms being graced by the likes of Ancient Methods, Perc, Metasplice and DJ Spider. We’re sure you’ll agree that’s quite some line-up.
