CDR And Dimensions Festival Announce Vinyl Release

The music project and Croatia-based festival will make their first foray into vinyl together.

Having collaborated for the past three years, multi-platform music project CDR (Create, Define, Release) and Croatian-based festival Dimensions have announced they will release a new vinyl project – ‘Dimension Sounds 2015′. Check out our Q&A from earlier this year with CDR head Tony Nwachukwu about his work with Dimensions.

The record will feature North Londoner and Wild Oats affiliate K15, who previously appeared on the CDR/Dimensions digital compilation in 2013. Read what happened when we caught up with K15 in a North London pool hall last year. Also featuring will be South London duo FYI Chris who’ve previously released on the likes of CHURCH and Rhythm Section. Both artists will be playing at Dimensions 2015 which takes place 26-30 August in Pula, Croatia.

K15 and FYI Chris will be creating their tracks using samples and field recordings captured over the past two years by festival attendees and phonography enthusiasts as part of the CDR and Dimensions Local Audio project. Keeping in line with CDR’s devotion to supporting emerging talent, the release will be open to submission from the wider dance music community. Head over to the Dimensions website to find out how you can get involved.

Dimensions Festival will take place in Pula, Croatia 26th-30th August, buy tickets here.
