Caribou, Kindness & Patti Smith Headline Field Day 2015

The Initial Line-Up For Field Day 2015 Has Been Announced.

Field Day has today announced the first wave of acts performing at its 2015 edition. The ninth edition of the two-day weekender will, as take place across June 6th and 7th at it’s home in East London’s Victoria Park. The Saturday is geared for electronic music fans with Caribou, Ben Klock b2b Marcel Dettman, Daniel Avery b2b Andrew Weatherall, Clark performing his new live show, SOPHIE, Kindness, Chet Faker, Django Django, Phantasy Sound’s Ghost Culture, Nina Kraviz all performing. Madlib will be doing a DJ-set, Violinist Owen Pallet who is also known for his violin-looping live project ‘Final Fantasy’ also feature on the bill and many more will be announced in the coming months.

Sunday will cater more towards Indie and Rock fans with the announcement that visionary American singer-songwriter Patti Smith will headline alongside seminal Brit-Rock band Ride who have recently re-united to much appraisal. They will be accompanied by experimental New Jersey outfit Ducktails. World Music will have a prominent place at the event with Ethiopian keyboardist Hailu Mergia performing this year, joined by Tony Buck and Mike Majkowski.
