Dubstep original set for new release on Kode9’s eponymous Hyperdub label.
Will Bevan, a man more commonly known as dubstep and dark garage producer Burial, is set to return with a forthcoming EP entitled ‘Kindred’. Hyperdub boss Steve Goodman aka Kode9 notified the world via Twitter this morning with a tweet reading:
“HDB059 Burial – Kindred EP. Join Hyperdub mailing list for news. Vinyl/digital and def less than 25quid”
As yet more details to be confirmed, but this marks the first solo release from the South London producer since the ‘Street Halo’ EP earlier this year.
You can subscribe to the Hyperdub mailing list here. We don’t like to gossip, but we’re guessing the “25quid” could be a reference to the price of the Vinyl Factory’s recent Massive Attack and Burial collaboration. Don’t you just love Twitter?
