Burial and Massive Attack are set to collaborate.
Despite Massive Attack creative catalyst Robert ‘3D’ Del Naja hinting at the news via an interview with the LA Times music blog over a year ago, nothing has been heard of the remix/collaboration project until today, when Pitchfork posted a news item on the forthcoming 12″ project earlier today.
More London than Bristol, the release sees the full collaboration in ‘Four Walls’, a beautifully atmospheric piece, whilst Burial reworks ‘Paradise Circus’ from Massive Attack’s ‘Heligoland’ album on the flip.
A vinyl only release entitled ‘Four The release is limited to 1000 gold glitter screen gprinted copies designed by Del Naja himself, and you can purchase yours over at the Massive Attack website. Preview the artwork below.
