Boiler Room are to be part of a transformation of West London’s Victoria & Albert museum on the evening of Friday 31st January.
‘Friday Night Late’ in association with MasterCard will act as an exploration of ‘music’s relationship to technology’, via a full program of events at the museum. As well as Boiler Room, who will be streaming live from secret locations within the V&A, there will also be performances from audio visual group Emptyset, Jack ‘Untold’ Dunning (showcasing his hardware with the guys from synth shop London Modular), and jazz folk experimentalist Kieran Mcleod, who plays with his Human Resource System. In addition there will be a demonstration of design studio Dentaku’s easy to build Ototo synth (check out a video below), talks from sociologist Laurie Waller and sonic artists Tom Richards and Fiorenzo Palermo and an interactive workshop from London start up TM Instruments.
Entry is free and organised and first come, first served basis. More information can be found here.
