They’re going back to Butlins with a host of star names next March.
After a legendary four year run between 2007 to 2011, Bloc endured a much publicised bout of ill fortune with their attempt to host a London weekender in 2012. Returning the following year with a run of succesful parties at Hackney Wick’s Autumn Street Studios that brought in the likes of Surgeon, Shackleton and Actress, they’ve steadily rebuilt their rep as some of the most astute promoters around.
Running from March 13th to 15th, Bloc’s event at Butlins in Minehead will see some of alternative Techno and House’s biggest names gracing the booth at Butlins. Detroit luminaries Jeff Mills, Robert Hood, Omar-S and Carl Craig are joined by Ostgut Ton’s Marcel Dettmann and Ben Klock as well as Dub Techno originator Mortiz Von Ozwald. The full Hessle Audio trio of Pangaea, Ben UFO and Pearson Sound will be out in effect as well, with Numbers boss Jackmaster and Kanye-West collaborating Glaswegian Hudson Mohawke joining them. Rounding off the first wave of line up announcements are Bronx based Electro pioneers ESG, Teutonic Electro giant Modeselektor and Blawan and Pariah’s collaborative Karenn project.
More names are set to follow shortly, but in the mean time you can buy tickets here and watch the preview video below.
