Bloc Prepares Easter Double-Header With Omar S, L.I.E.S And More.

Bloc’s rise from the ashes continues with two events over the Easter bank holiday weekend.

After the huge success of its sell-out relaunch earlier this month with Model 500, Juan Atkins and South London Ordnance, Bloc soldiers on in its smaller, club-focused manifestation with consecutive events this Easter Saturday and Sunday at their new East London home.

Saturday’s proceedings are headlined by hero of the Detroit house underground Omar S, who will be closing the show with a 3-hour set. Support comes from Mancunian techno master Claro Intelecto performing live, and DJ sets from NCW, ADJ and Dolan Bergin. Sunday continues in style with the debut UK showcase from Brooklyn’s finest, L.I.E.S – repped by label boss Ron Morelli alongside Steve Summers, Delroy Edwards and Svengalisghost.

Tickets for Saturday are available here, and for Sunday here. Check below to watch Omar S tearing up the Boiler Room’s recent ‘Studio Africa’ event and click here to read Dazed Digital’s interview with Ron Morelli ahead of his performance at Bloc.
