Bleep Tenth Birthday Events and Compilation Details Announced

Bleep.com celebrate their tenth birthday with a host of events and a bumper compilation…

Bleep.com, launched in 2004, will be celebrating it’s 10th birthday next week with the release of a compilation and a host of worldwide events. The fourteen-track compilation will feature unreleased material from artists such as Modeselektor (who revealed their ‘I’m not into Twerk, I’m into KrafTwerk’ earlier today), Machinedrum, Untold, Dabrye and Autechre. According to Bleep, the fourteen artists represent different genres of equal importance that “continue to shape the direction of the Bleep store”. Released on the 5th May, all vinyl and CD orders are accompanied by an MP3 download.

Bleep will also hold a comprehensive range of events  across London, New York and Los Angeles. Amongst these is ‘Photographing Music’ featuring the prolific Shaun Bloodworth, Alex de Mora and Dan Wilton. The panel will provide a talk ahead of a live performances from Fuck Buttons, Mount Kimbie and Fennesz at the Barbican. Other noteworthy events include Low End Theory in Los Angeles, featuring Lapalux and Gaslamp Killer, an NTS Radio Takeover and a pop-up shop at Ace Hotel on Shoreditch High Street.
