UK promoters launch a new intimate series with two of house and techno’s best.
Two of techno and house music’s finest new minds come together on March 3 as Black Atlantic, the collective known for bringing the likes of Moodymann, Tri Angle Records, AraabMUZIK, Hudson Mohawke, Kassem Mosse, DJ Stingray and more to London for irregular, warehouse-based parties, ask New York controller Levon Vincent and South London rudeboy Joy Orbison to launch their new Ark Series.
Taking place in an as yet unnamed 300 capacity basement space, the Ark Series will see top flight producers and DJs play extended sets to an intimate crowd. March 3 sees fabric’s forthcoming mix CD curator Levon Vincent take to the stage, following a run of quality releases that has seen him refine his sound to become one of the pioneering voice in modern house and techno. Meanwhile London’s own Joy Orbison will be playing uncharacteristically small venue, as he continues to capitalise on a wealth of vinyl only productions, not to mention the start of new label Hinge Finger (alongside Will Bankhead).
Unsurprisingly this is a bona fide sell out show, with a small number of advance tickets available over at RA – for more information on all things Black Atlantic, head here, and download a free Hinge Finger promo mix below.
