Ben Westbeech to Release Sophomore Album In Spring

Next year is looking to be the year of true British soul, as Bristolian bass/soul star Ben Westbeech joins the ranks of James Blake and Jamie Woon, with the release of his new album ‘There’s More To Life Than This’ in April.

The singer, songwriter, dj and producer has recently been making waves on the underground house scene with his Breach alias (his ‘Fatherless’ track being one of the biggest dancefloor releases of 2010), which has resulted in his signing to legendary house imprint Strictly Rhythm. The album itself is “house inspired, rather than straight up house music” according to Ben himself, and features collaborations with Soul Clap, Henrik Schwartz, MJ Cole, Lovebirds, Motor City Drum Ensemble and Georg Levin.

You can catch a clip of his (really rather good) ‘Summers Loss’ video below, and we’ll have more news as it comes in.
