Baauer Set To Release On Lucky Me

A debut vinyl release from Baauer, in anticipation for his first full EP on LuckyMe Records.

Brooklyn-based producer/DJ Baauer has been signed to the Lucky Me roster, joining the likes of Lunice, Machinedrum, Hudson Mohawke, Mike Slott and Jacques Greene. Formerly a 4×4 and electro DJ under the name CapnHarry (apparently a joke name to match the music he was making), Baauer has since channeled these exploits into his devastatingly paramount, balls-out approach to hip-hop.

In the space of a few months he has managed to go from virtually unheard of to having tracks played out by the TNGHT duo, Lunice and Hudson Mohawke and recently featuring on Benji B’s Radio One show live from New York.

You may well have heard his track ‘Dum Dum’ destroying a dancefloor near you over recent months, and now it will be released as a laser etched limited edition 12″ white label, complete with a great piece of illustration by Eclair Fifi.

Preview ‘Dum Dum’ alongside ‘My Nose’ and ‘Swerve’ below. All three tracks can be pre-ordered over at Baauer.com right now.
