The inaugural event will take place at the beginning of next month.
Taking place in Amsterdam’s modern Muziekgebouw concert hall, the Online Radio Festival will be held 1st and 2nd May. The first event of its kind, the festival will celebrate the rise of online radio in recent years – drawing in six leaders in the field. London is represented ably by Boiler Room and NTS, whilst Los Angeles’ Dub Lab, Berlin Community Radio, Gent’s Stroom and local station Red Light Radio will all participate in an uninterrupted 30 h0ur live simulcast from the festival. Each station has had an input in curating the line-up – which is highlighted by performances from the likes of Dean Blunt, Juju & Jordash, Micachu, Laurel Halo and Awesome Tapes From Africa.
Representatives from each station – including Charlie Bones of NTS, will be stopping by the play tunes and chat, whilst there will also be a portion of the 30 hour run given over to panels and talks. You can find out more by reading the flyer below, or over on the official website.
