Music production software and hardware manufacturer Ableton are to undertake a two-month worldwide university tour
Throughout recent years, Ableton has continued to entwine creativity and practical learning with accessible guest lectures at respected institutes, free workshops and an informative YouTube channel. Founded in 1999, the Berlin-based company is largely concerned with innovation, education and betterment through consumer feedback.
Starting in April and continuing throughout May, Ableton will embark on a tour across various schools around the world. Each educational workshop will present demonstrations of Ableton Live and Push, delivered by certified Ableton trainers and artists. Ableton declare that there will be a ‘specific focus on opening the world of music creation to students’. As well as students, faculty and staff of each establishment are welcome to attend, and each seminar is open to the public. With no attendance fee, the tour provides a fantastic opportunity for beginners to satiate their curiosity or for professionals to magnify their understanding.
