Burgeoning label A Future Without is set to release a brace of EPs this Autumn, taking in 2 UK talents to watch.
First up is bass and experimental producer Vessel‘s latest work. The Bristol producer, who recently kicked things off for Throwing Snow’s Left Blank label with his fantastic ‘Nylon Sunset’, is set to release the 5 track EP on October 31.
Entitled ‘Wax Dance’, the EP concentrates on Vessel’s deep, progressive bass sound, taking influence from funk, soul and hip-hop and producing 5 cuts of next level electronica – or “‘an account of movement and physical twitches made by the motion of sound” as the man himself says.
Released on the same day is ‘String Loops’ from Brighton-based man Sam Kidel who featured on Rekordah’s ‘Astro:Dynamics’ compilation last year as El Kid. The 3 track EP is constructed entirely of loops originating from electric guitar but digitally transformed into thick, drone-like bass meditations. ‘String Loops’ will be available on tape from A Future Without’s Bandcamp page as well as a full digital release.
