This week we invite Mak & Pasteman to work their magic on those post-carnival blues. The hotly-tipped Notts/Leeds bass-merchants have been turning up the heat in 2012, with a slew of scorching releases on the likes of Shifting Peaks, Hot N Heavy, Anabatic and Synesthesia. They also bravely turned their hand to the Warp Records classic the “Leeds Warehouse Mix” of LFO’s eponymous tune, doing a sterling job of giving the rave cornerstone a new lick of paint.
Their Hyp mix can be summed up in two words – grime, bruv. Here we see their tight mixing styles combine, blending classic Wiley, JME, Dizzee and Agent X with Bok Bok, Walter Ego, Plastician and much more. Pull up!
