Soundcrash takeover XOYO this weekend, bringing their heady concoction of beats, bass and riddims to East London’s liveliest venue.
Featuring a line-up that boasts not only 2 of the UK’s favourite hip-hop DJs, but also one of the best young beat producers of his generation, plus a 9 piece dub reggae band that continually sell out shows back in their native Bristol, this Saturday is set to be another smasher for the Soundcrash posse.
The headline act is none other than DMC champion DJ Kentaro, whose appearance at the 2002 World DMC championship is now legendary for his then highest ever score, whilst the mighty Mr. Thing will be joining hotly tipped Bristolian’s Smerins Anti-Social Club, who’s debut release ‘Dr. Who’ is out on Brighton’s Tru Thoughts later this summer. Room 2 sees Bonafide Magazine bring through Young Turks and One Handed beatsmith Bullion and Ninja Tune’s own uniquely deranged lyricist Infinite Livez.
We have 3 pairs of tickets to giveaway to Saturday’s show, for those that can answer the simple questions below:
DJ Kentaro hails from which Asian country?
