This weekend (May 20) sees 2 of London’s favourite bass promoters go head-to-head in a warehouse clash set to make an indelible mark on East London.
Tiger Beer Presents: Deadly Rhythm X Dirty Canvas is part of Tiger Beer’s ‘Know The Not Known’ series, which has seen the brand explore London’s urban underground culture through a variety of events and parties, and this Friday sees them focus their attention on the capital’s vobrant bass scene.
Grime/bass stalwarts Dirty Canvas join forces with South London promoters du jour Deadly Rhythm to the line-up of the weekend as Warp’s rudeboy scientist Rustie, Hemlock Recordings boss Untold, Numbers’ own Deadboy and Eglo’s big bossman Alexander Nut represent the London sound. The event will be streamed live by the Ustream sensation that is The Boiler Room, with free Tiger beer being served to the first 200 entrants, which may mean you’ll have to do that dancing/belching thing all night, but that’s a small price to pay for a straight up gangsta rave.
We have a pair of tickets to giveaway to the first person who can answer the following question:
A tiger may be a big cat, but which big dog headlined the Dirty Canvas 6th Birthday back in March of this year?
**Unfortunately, due to circumstances beyond their control, the Tiger Beer Presents: Deadly Rhythm X Dirty Canvas has been cabcelled.
