Watch the synaesthetic visuals for Mculo’s new release

Following a busy year cutting his teeth on sessions for NTS and Balamii, as well as nights across Europe in the wake of his vinyl only release on Roots By Oder last year, we’re happy to be unveiling the visuals for ‘Then She Looked Back At Me’ from Berlin producer Mculo – the B-side of his upcoming EP I Caught A Glance.

Composed in synaesthetic fashion, in collaboration with artist Alexander James, ‘Then She Looked Back at Me’ is a serene slab of jacking house, framed by a wall of shining melody.

The accompanying video is the perfect expression of the track’s melancholic radiance – a vibrant collage of vintage clips entitled ‘These Colours Don’t Run’, superimposed behind footage of Alexander James painting pieces for his upcoming exhibition of the same name in September. Watch the video below.

I Caught A Glance is out July 25 on Roots By The Oder. Pre-order it here.
