There’s now only a week until Dalston’s multi-venue music and arts festival ‘returns for the royalist of all wedding weekend knees-ups’. On the 28th & 29th April East London’s cultural epicenter will be transformed bringing you basement parties, roof-top all-dayers, film showcases, secret banquets, cutting-edge video installations, pop-up cafes and an underground gaming den. Partners involved with the Land of Kings Festival include Brownswood Recordings, Batty Bass, Clash magazine, Moshi Moshi Records and your’s truly, Hyponik.
We will be taking over Dalston’s newest club-venue, The Nest, on 29th April bringing you one of the biggest line-ups of the 2 day festival. On the night we have bass-heavy duo Mums of Death (the Sega Megadrive loving pairing of Mumdance and Drums of Death), the talented Terrorhythm/Civil Music artist Om Unit, Eglo Records resident acid-boogie master Funkineven and the silky-smooth Streets of Beige collective, we’re set to help the LoK crowd run through until dawn, as we keep things turning until 4am.
We have an exclusive Good Friday treat in the form of a free track from one half of Mums of Death, the Scottish, electronic, voodoo- zombie we know as Drums of Death. You can get your hands on ‘Bubble Bobble’ here
