Bristol’s Nostro Hood System (NHS) start 2018 with their first label compilation,
Waystation Compilation: Sequence I.
Having built up a series of releases since 2015, the Nostro Hood System’s home resides on the outer edges of contemporary club culture, based around a concept that’s described as “an alternate realm of time and space where music exists and the freedom within that system is represented as an infinite number of planets occupied by organisms that produce their own style of music.”
Featuring efforts from members Goro, Superficie, Mistareez, Noire, Callosum, Wild Kid, and Bungalovv, today we are happy to bring you a cut from the big bossman himself, Galtier.
With previous releases on labels such as Infinite Machine, NAAFI, Files Rec and Druid Cloak’s Apothecary Compositions, the Australian-born producer’s club-tinged experimentalism slows right down in ‘Sharp Gaze’, with mutated dancehall frameworks struck by razor-sharp synths and murky sonics.

Waystation Compilation (Sequence I) is out February 2 on Nostro Hood System.
