Infinite Machine keep up their excellent form with an EP from Ultramajic label manager, Alfred English.
It’s been a busy year for Canadian club purveyors Infinite Machine. They’ve already unleashed caustic dancefloor belters from London producer/DJ Iydes and elusive internet trio WWWINGS, and now they’re gearing up for their debut record from Alfred English.
English is a multidisciplinary artist based is Los Angeles, with a storied artistic path leading up till now. Currently heading up Jimmy Edgar’s Ultramajic imprint as label manager, he’s previously worked with Mad Decent and designed artwork for none other than southern rap mavens Future and Waka Flocka.
Ahead of the release of his Piston EP, out April 29, have a listen to the title track’s remix from ETEVLEH, the producer who debuted with the Death EP on Philadelphia’s Slit Jockey last year. ETEVLEH takes the jagged edges of English’s frantic original, and contorts it into an amorphous beast, laced with ambiguous vocal coos and delicate guitar cut-ups.
Piston is out April 29 on Infinite Machine.
