Taylor Freels, better known as California producer Urulu, has been pushing his own brand of quality house music for some time now.
With critically acclaimed releases on respected imprints such as NYC’s Let’s Play House as well as taste-making UK outlets such as Needwant and Shabby Doll, Urulu runs the Amadeus Records imprint which, 18 releases deep, has been home to acts like Chaos In The CBD, Steve Huerta, DFRNT and Cassio Kohl.
Amadues’ latest effort, ‘The Armadillo EP’, comes from the big chief himself, arriving as a a four-track exploration through broken beats and timeless Yamaha synth sounds.
Today we premiere opener ‘Limp Lover (Intro)’, where drifting pads hover freely round broken 2-step textures, calmly assembling for lift off. Hear below.
The Armadillo EP is out today on Amadeus Records. Order it here.
