Beginning as a club night in a West London pub, respected record label, club night, art project and all round unit GETME! reach ten this year, and are celebrating with a compilation of new music from roster artists both old and new.
Described as “a mixed bag of sounds and genres”, the release explores the many shades of alternative club music and will run ten tracks for ten years of existence, featuring music from the likes of Kit Grill, Hello Skinny, Lil Jabba and the GETME! big chief LIXO (Alex Hislop).
Ahead of the release, we’ve picked out Copenhagen-based producer and DJ Erosion Flow’s contribution. With a release on George Fitzgerald’s ManMakeMusic as well as two EPs for Martyn’s 3024 label, Henrik Koefod AKA Erosion Flow’s glimmering techno is quickly gaining him widespread recognition.
‘Mutual Detachment’ sees the producer strip components back, with fluttering synths, rattling percussion, and a hammering bassline working to lethal effect. Hear in full below.
