It is no hyperbole to say that Huxley has been one of the front runners leading the charge of UK house music’s rebirth over the past couple of years. Combining his ability to create bassy earworms with garage-leaning deep house rhythms, Huxley aka Michael Dodman has found huge success through breakthrough tracks such as ‘Shower Scene’ and ‘Let It Go’. And with releases on labels such as Hypercolour, Rinse, 20:20 Vision and Tsuba, it is no secret that his production chops are in high demand.
Joining Huxley at XOYO will be Futureboogie affiliate Maxxi Soundsystem. Famed for his classic slice of summer house ‘Regrets We Have No Use For’ on Hypercolour, Maxxi aka Sam Watts’ manifesto is clear; to create sultry and fun party vibes with no strings attached. Breaking the UK contingent is Swedish-born Jonas Rathsman. Like both Maxxi Soundsystem and Huxley, Rathsman too has an ear for an insatiable hook, heard most clearly on last year’s smash ‘Tobago’. He’s followed that up with similarly high end productions ‘Bringing You Down’ and ‘Since I Don’t Have You’.
