Rich Mix

Oui Madame! After Le KKC Orchestra and La Caravane Passe smashed Rich Mix in February, Vive Le France is back for Round Two, featuring “la creme de la creme” of genre smashing live French music. In partnership with the French Music Export Office and Pernod Ricard, the ‘Vive La France’ series of gigs launched in early 2010 at Favela Chic in Shoreditch London. A special edition was held at Glastonbury in June 2010, at Rich Mix in February 2011 and they’re back again. Every month Vive la France at Favela Chic brought you incredibly talented guest performers from the beautiful country of Camembert. For this second Rich Mix edition, they bring electro pop acts extraordinaire Pony Pony Run Run, Naïve New Beaters and dEbruit.
Expect buzzing pop, skewed electro, 80s style hip hop and serious synth magic.

His latest release on Skam demonstrates his ability to offer up cerebral sounds that take cues from electro, techno, dub and noise whilst never failing to shake your ass. This is one of only two UK dates on Kouhei’s current European tour.
The Wyrding Module is a solo project from paramusician and sound artist Christopher Gladwin, one half of chip-core godfathers Team Doyobi.

More inspired by “honest references” than the dance music of his peers, it draws on his background in soundtracking and visual art, taking influence from the VHS electronics of Games and Boards of Canada, and cushioning tracks in collages of ambient samples while distant drums reverberate across the horizon.

Former members of DEAD KIDS (Trans Am, Weird War, Prodigy, Sona Fariq) have a new project called I.R.O.K . “Life forms, remove the shackles of the bondage that they keep you in: GET FREE. This is your time to wake up from the heavy heavy sedation. The Arganoids are coming. No, they are already here. Eat. Work. Drink. Fuck. Sleep. GET FREE. IROK is the parallel. IROK is your escape. Z-Shed VS. Coin Operated w/ Royal-T++

The Rhythm Factory, 16-18 Whitechapel Road

The Z-Shed & Coin Operated were all set for a trip to Glastonbury but unfortunately due to legal reasons they’re still not allowed within a 5 mile radius of U2. Bono if you’re reading this, it was a joke OK?

But, as they say, every cloud has a silver lining and this one comes in the shape of massive free party down at our favourite east London hang out, The Rhythm Factory.

So, without further ado.
