The second of our Dream States events and we’ve managed to secure two of the hottest DJs and producers around at the moment.
Delroy Edwards of L.I.E.S released one of the biggest 12″s of last year with “4 Club Use Only” and his forthcoming “White Owl” is bound to cause equal damage. This will be only his second and only other London date of this European tour.
In addition Norway’s DJ Sotofett will be playing a super special extended 5 hour set in the tiny basement. The Sex Tags Mania head is for sure one of the most brilliant and unpredictable producers out there and his extended DJ sets will take in deep house, techno, disco, dub and all sorts in between. This is a rare chance to see him in such an intimate setting.

On 31st May Join us on the beautiful rocket roof terrace for an evening of house & electronic music. Chilled, sunset vibes all night long..

Love System is a brand new European festival taking place just outside the beautiful Croatian town of Petrcane, tucked into the Adriatic coastline. The vision is to create an immersive experience for avid followers of house music and all its various guises. Love System takes place in the never-before-used Punta Radman wood. The shaded, intimate site contains a maze of bars, stages and chill-out areas nestled in between the trees. Venture further into the wood and, without a building in sight, punters spill out onto the coast where the main stage lies floating over the Adriatic. Here, festival-goers will have the opportunity to dance the day and night away to the beat of electronic music’s elite, caressed by the afternoon summer sun or the blissful Croatian night-time. Shonky, Ralph Lawson, Mario Basanov and Finnebassen are just some of the names to grace the floating stage.
In true Croatian style, Love System wouldn’t be complete without a boat party, so we have decided to bring you eight. Hosted by some of the most esteemed labels and party brands in the UK, including Jaunt, Underground, Kumasi and Bad Apple, the Love System fleet sets sail twice daily. Catch George Fitzgerald representing his ManMakeMusic label, roll up for the Tom Demac Live show with Micron, indulge yourself with French house groover Shonky on the 2020Vision cruise, or see UK funky don Ossie smash up the Flux boat.
Love System is more than just a festival; it is a holiday as well. There is a range of beautiful apartments and villas just minutes from the site, allowing revellers all the comforts and luxuries they could want. Alternatively, camping is available next to the site for those looking to enjoy the Croatian summer. Travel packages including transfers from Leeds, Manchester and Newcastle to London airports, and coaches to the site, are available to make booking your time at Love System as easy as possible.
Love System is the connoisseur’s festival: forward-thinking music, mindblowing Adriatic coastline setting, bespoke boat parties, branded after parties, luxury accommodation, and the Croatian summer. With tickets limited to just 800, make sure you bag yours now to avoid any disappointment. Early Bird tickets are on sale now priced at only £59. Roll on the Summer of Love!

Summary:
Discovery raise the game for the Bank holiday with 2 international disco guests flying in to the Shoreditch Disco pub, burger bear doing the disco burgers, drinking, dancing and a 4am finish.
Description:
Dj Kaos (Jollyjams/ DFA Berlin) jets in from Berlin to join the Discover residents Neil Thornton and Jac the Disco downstairs while upstairs Ambassadors Reception has a special loft party with special guest Loud E (Rotterdam) and birthday boy Stevie Kotey, expect disco old and new, house, rediscovered party unclassics and not forgetting Burger Bear doing the disco burgers.
DJ Kaos’s singles are tightly constructed affairs, songs that patiently unfurl over seven-minute runtimes. He’s certainly restless stylistically, applying a disco sensibility across multiple strands of dance music but once he settles upon a sound, he inhabits it, effortlessly gliding through peaks and troughs as if it were the only kind of track he knew how to make. To wit: recent years have found him producing smouldering house (“Keep on Movin’”) and psych-kissed disco (“Kosmischer Ruckenwind”), while two outstanding singles for DFA Records 2009′s slinky “Love the Night Away”and last year’s silky smooth, krautrock-indebted “From Inside” convincingly pulled off more analog, song-oriented approaches.
The ambassadors like to throw a little soiree every now and then, so with spring in the air we’ve decided to warm up for a busy year with an Ambassadors Reception London special in the rather cosy loft of The Horse and Groom. We are bringing Ambassador Loud-E back to London with his hot and exotic disco sound. It was no surprise when he was recently named on Resident Advisor My favourite DJ feature as DJ I.f favourite dj. The Dutch maestro has the unique ability to blend a truly tropical mix of flavours from around the world to create a special style which is completely his own. Ably assisted by the exquisite Stevie Kotey we know it’s going to be a night of musical excellence.
Price: on the door: £5/6, advance tickets: £4.

It’s May, and all of a sudden people are feeling a bit more chipper. Festivals big and small loom on the horizon (Sonar, Secret Garden Party, Love System, The Garden stick out to us).
Description:
And, believe it or not, Kumasi are in the mood for throwing their biggest party yet! A 14hour, outdoor/indoor, day/night extravaganza in fact…
The line-up is, quite frankly, spot on. KOLOMBO hops across the channel to take the helm of Kumasi Music’s May Bank Holiday Special. Kolombo’s 2012 was amongst the most prolific in the game, where he began to be recognized as a producer of considerable talent and style, not least by heavyweights Solomun and Jamie Jones. He is joined by LOVEBIRDS, a stalwart of house music and a real producer’s producer. He has been remixed by Vincenzo, Gorge, Greg Wilson and Steve Bug, whilst certified anthem “Want You In My Soul” ft Stee Downes (Winding Road) says all that needs saying about his own tunes. HNQO, whose track “Point of View” (Hot Creations) found itself knocking around with this writer’s best tracks of 2012, will make an esteemed Kumasi Music debut. The warm climes and disparate musical heritage of Brazil have colored his music with the same melodic inspiration as some of his fellow countrymen, namely Amon Tobin and DJ Marky.

We’re extremely excited to welcome Goldie down for what’s sure to be a memorable Bank Holiday at The Nest . Singlehandedly inventing one of the most important movements in the rave culture of the 90s (and arguably in the history of 20th Century British music) his album Timeless re-wrote the rulebook for what was possible with a simple drum pattern
and a bassline.
The jewel in Goldie’s drum and bass crown is undoubtedly his still-fresh sounding ‘Innercity Life’, and his infectious personality is sure to shine through when he takes to the decks.

Wiggle celebrates 19 years of moving and grooving London town and we get seriously upwards again, at Paramount, for a birthday bash to remember! It’s hard to believe that 19 years have passed since we started our journey and what a journey it’s been! One thing is for sure though time flies when your having fun! So join us in raising a glass to the sounds of.
Julien Chaptal
Julien Chaptal is a multi-talented, Amsterdam-based Parisian performing both as a live act and DJ. First breaking through in 2007/8 on a young Amsterdam based label called Remote Area and subsequently with releases on labels such as Intacto, 2020 Vision and most recently on Saved, Julien has remained at the forefront of the many talents which have emerged from the vibrant Dutch scene.
2013, however, has the look of a vintage year. Julien’s ‘Illin’ EP debuted on Saved at the beginning of February, which kicks off a stellar run of releases through until summer. ‘Tout Près De Toi’ follows on Supernature, ‘The Look On Your Face’ EP is scheduled for release on Defected in April, along with a pair of remixes for Luke Solomon on Classic. A collaboration with Lauhaus on Supplement Facts ‘Jujuman’ – with remix from Franck Roger and a scheduled EP on Classic rounds out a prolific run of form.

Oval Space Music invite this year’s most popular duo Feel My Bicep to host Glasgow’s DJ duo Optimo and Brooklyn genre bending masters, Metro Area Live.
The brainchild of veteran producers Morgan Geist and Darshan Jesrani, Metro Area was born out of the duo’s dichotomous love of both the old moods of R&B, disco and boogie and the more cutting-edge sound of innovative house and techno. Bursting onto the scene in 1999 with their self-titled debut 12″ featuring the cult smash “Atmosphrique”, and have since been pleasing our ears with releases on Environ, Tiger Sushi and fabric.
A staple within the scene for over 15 years, DJ duo Twitch & JG Wilkes, aka Optimo, both started out playing different music; Twitch – electro, noisy rock and the eighties New York punk funk of Liquid (from who they borrowed their name) and Wiles reggae, funk and jazz. From performing as spate entities for 10 years, to hosting their Sunday Optimo residence at Sub Club in Glasgow every weekend for 13 years straight.
One of this year’s most popular DJ duos has without a doubt been Bicep, AKA Belfast boys Andy Ferguson and Matt McBriar. The depth of their musical knowledge has stood them in good stead, providing the fuel for some really great DJ sets as well as their musical productions. Brought together through a common obsession with all things analog, their blog, ‘Feel My Bicep’, has grown to be the first port of call for those searching for cutting-edge and hard-to-find disco and it’s a pleasure to have them host this very special line up with us.

Summary:
The May Bank Holiday holds pride of place amongst the British rave community, gently coaxing the season of outdoor partying into view, and providing a timely break before an inevitably busy summer.
Description:
Kumasi Music have embraced this spirit by having a Manchester bank holiday knee-up to accompany a day-night extravaganza the following day in London.
Central to the success of these parties is a short hop across the channel from Belgian KOLOMBO, who has had 12 months to remember, releasing on 2DIY4, Kompakt and MTA Records. In addition to this takeover of house music’s major labels, an intense touring schedule over the past couple of years have cemented an esteemed reputation as a party-starting DJ, where cuts are designed firmly for the floor. HNQO joins Kumasi in Manchester for a double header as part of his UK tour. Riding high on the back of signing to Hot Creations, the young Brazilian is held in extremely high regard, intending to follow in the footsteps of Brazilian greats such as DJ Marky and Amon Tobin. MATT FEAR continues his Kumasi residency, at a time where his “Groove With It” EP (Resonance Records) finds him in superb production form. As a DJ, the Yorkshireman continues his straight-laced, no nonsense approach to getting people moving, positively attacking his fans with growling sub-bass and forceful drumwork. Similarly, KREATURE will step up to the decks once more, as a remix for MTA beckons him to continue his steady rise towards dance music’s elite. SION, creative force behind “Make You Do” (MTA), has set about rubber-stamping his new-found fame with slew of releases on Sleazy Deep, Suspect Behaviour and Nasty Funk. Finally, NastyFunk co-owner ERIK CHRISTIANSEN will grace the decks, fresh off a glittering remix of “Waiting Up” on Popart, and a tour of Brazil.

LINE UP:
======================================
LINE UP:
SOUND GYPSY (Dobara/Stranjjur/Nëim/Sleazy Deep/Hotbox)
A DJ/Producer based just out of London, Harsh Puri (aka Sound Gypsy) is currently focusing on developing his own take on house music. Being a DJ for 13 years now and having previously released EP’s and singles on various labels for the past 7 years, this experience has helped him grow as a musician and develop a more mature and eclectic sound. Influences range anywhere from disco, funk, dub, Bollywood to deep cinematic soundscapes and dialogues and everything in between.
Having releases out now on Stranjjur, Neim, Sleazy Deep and his own imprint Dobara, Harsh is on a mission to innovate and push forward thinking house and techno. Some tracks tell a story…while others, it’s all about the groove and melody. 2012 saw 2 of his tracks, namely “Turned My World Around” and “Way I Feel” appear in the top 100 Nu Disco Charts on Beatport while “Look What Ur Doin To Me” is still refusing to leave the Deep End Charts on Stompy!
With a new release coming out on quality slo mo house label Hotbox in early 2013 plus a plethora of new material in the works, 2013 is predicted to be the best year yet for this 29 year old.
SAHPE (Dobara/Preset/Kindred Sounds)
Michael “Sahpe” Sachpekidis was born in Greece but has lived in the UK since 1999. He was taught piano, guitar, and drums from a very young age, and music has been a part of his life since… He’s hosted his own radio show at Hull Uni’s Jam1575, DJed all around the UK – Hull (Fez Club), Manchester (Ampersand, Emporia), Newbury (Avenue), Reading (Mango, Venue), and also in Thessaloniki, Greece, his home town – Isalos (Summer 2003 residency), Q Club Mylos, Skybar, Spiti Two (with Novatek). He consistently delivers club-wise DJ sets with cross-genre floor-fillers and crowd-pleasers, ranging from summery tribal house at the beach bars, to tech-house and minimal techno in the UK and in Greece’s underground scene, to electro and techno when the crowd can take it!
Michael has also been experimenting with music making from an early age (the age of DOS!) and has recently started releasing under aliases Sahpe (tech house), Forgetting Factor (chillout) and mikaelantony (electro, nu disco), on labels like In Fact, Arabica, Avatara, Angry Monkey, and Dobara! For Michael, music comes through innumerable influences of different genres, his classical training, and of course the bug that Novatek passed to him!! …to whom he is grateful.
ASH REYNOLDS (Dobara/Ministry of Sound)
Ash Reynolds is a London based DJ/Producer with over 10 years behind the decks and half that in production. He has played sets all over London and surrounding areas. 2012 saw Ash play the world famous Ministry Of Sound and have the chance to play at Croatia’s Dimensions festival. 2013 has seen Ash release his debut E.P. with Dobara Music. Huge support came in from Waifs & Strays, Digitaria, The Mekanism, MAM and many more.
Support for Ash’s disco/funk edits, which can be found on soundcloud.com, came from Moon Boots and All Good Funk Alliance. Primarily, Ash is a House/electronic DJ but with a love of hip hop and funk music Ash tries to incorporate these styles in his sets and productions
THOMAS AMUNDSEN (Dobara/The Egg)
Originally from Oslo, Thomas Amundsen has had the knack to experiment with music from an early age. He has experience with both acoustic and electronic music and has been a DJ now for a number of years.
Relocated to London now and having a degree in Music and Entertainment Industry Management under his belt, Thomas has been playing at different venues in London such as The White House and The Egg, while also performing at numerous clubs in Oslo including The Villa. Look out for his debut EP coming out soon on Dobara!

Signed to Brodinski’s fledgling Bromance label, Lille-based Club Cheval are perhaps the best embodiment of the French label’s emphasis on fun-filled collaboration. A who’s who fraternity of the French electro-house scene (with Jacques Lu Cont and Gesaffelstein also calling it home), Bromance was responsible for last year’s Club Cheval Mixtape, Decisions EP and Club Cheval & Brodinski collaboration.
The Club Cheval collective is made up of Canblaster, Myd, Sam Tiba and Panteros666, with the latter having just released Hyper Reality, with a suitably deranged video to accompany its titular lead single. What with their French background, comparisons with dance-punk pioneers Daft Punk are inescapable, but Club Cheval’s authentic take on the modern French groove is by turns care free and colourful.

Forward Thinking Events
Bedlam returns to London this Spring with another impeccably designed line up and perfectly atmospheric space in which to house the carnage. Your host, Tim Green, invites Ryan Crosson and Seuil to join him for an evening we are confident will exceed any previously planted expectations.
Tim Green needs no introduction to the Bedlam crowd. He is known for his production on home labels Cocoon, Get Physical and Dirtybird and loved for his unrivalled ability to whip the room in to a frenzy of whistles and raised arms. Since the last party Tim has been working on his debut artist album, preparing for the launch of his own label and developing his live show. Also putting together remixes for Claudia Lovisa, Timo Maas and Sven Tasnadi, there is never a dull moment on his path, and Tim loves nothing more than sharing his music in his London home at Bedlam.
Joining Tim on the night will be Visionquest founder, Ryan Crosson. The label, co-run by Seth Troxler, Shaun Reeves and Lee Curtiss, is arguably the most notable imprint in the spotlight of our generation. Ryan will be unleashing his own brand of house and techno inspired by his native city of Detroit, and fuelled by his nomadic adventures through Berlin and current settlement in London. This year Ryan released a collaborative album of pure musical genius, DRM, with Cesar Marveille, and is soon to embark on the huge ‘Visionquest 13’ tour, consisting of 13 worldwide showcases. He’s taken the time to join us, so let’s welcome him in true Bedlam style.
Seuil is a firm standing member of the French underground house movement. Having released with Minibar, Moonharbour, Lessizmore, Freak N Chic and with music coming on Culprit, Circus Company, Supplement Facts and Hello Repeat, he continues to churn out quality music as second nature. Following his successes with the launch of his own imprint ‘Eklo’ and second label project ‘Hold Youth’ with good friend Le Loup, added to his reputation for classic, seductive and percussive house sets, we felt him to be an invaluable addition to the Bedlam dance floor.
To get things going on the night we will leave you in the trusted hands of close friends and underground East London collective Kitsch & Sync, who have been turning heads this year through their invite only basement parties in Dalston, and unforgettable DJ appearances across the globe including Secret Garden, Glastonbury and exciting new Bulgarian based festival, Meadows in The Mountains.
The key ingredient to the perfect party is encapsulating a perfect energy across the room, and allowing for a close interaction between the crowd and DJ. We have developed a reputation for this, and will continue to make these elements fall in to place through our choice of venue, staging, sound system, lighting and all the little touches we prioritize more than most. We would like to thank our loyal crowd of music lovers, standing firm on the dance floor with spirits high, and for you we will continue to raise the bar party by party.

Born and raised in Philadelphia, DJ Cash Money (aka Jerome Hewlett) is a turntablist, hip-hop artist and record producer. He impressed the world with his remarkable turntable skills inventing and perfecting several scratch forms, including the famous transformer scratch (mimicked the robotic sound effects from the cartoon series of the same name). A close friend and rival to the local boy and hip hop legend Jazzy Jeff, the pair spent their rise to fame DJ-ing at parties together as “Kings of Spin”. Cash is also credited with creating the Pee Wee Herman scratch and established the Chirp scratch.

‘Be Ready’ was founded by a group of friends bored and disheartened by the saturation of ego and negative vibes in the London clubbing scene, and it all began with the intention of putting on parties that carried the festival ethos outside of muddy fields and into club venues.
On Friday 5th April, they have a VERY special party extravaganza planned to honour their 2nd birthday, in the unique three-sectioned warehouse, Autumn Street Studios, this year’s Bloc event series home. They’ll be providing all the trimmings and festival frills they are renowned for (including giant ball pit, birthday games and prizes, free giveaways, Funktion1 soundsystem & lots of decor) with an extra serving of tomfoolery on the side! To soundtrack the event, they’ve invited a few special guests to help usher in yet another year of good times and funky vibes…

After a rollicking two years of packed bank holiday Sundays at Rhythm Factory, we recently came to find out, pretty much by accident, that the club no longer wanted us, and that our long-booked 2013 fixtures had been all but, ahem, liquidated. Not good, not good at all (promoters beware). Our solution, though, is simple: move the whole operation to the best club in town and put on the best C&S yet. How about that?
Stepping up for the occasion, and making his joint Colony/Corsica debut in the process, is none other than James Ruskin, a man we’ve come to regard as a true ally over the past few years, kindly inviting us to host the second space at his heaving Blueprint nights and giving us free rein on our guests for the purposes. Respect. It was only a matter of time before we reciprocated and invited him down our ends, and with a peak-time slot on Corsica’s humming room 1 rig crying out for a figure of his calibre, this had to be the one. We could go on and on about his productions (dating all the way back to ’95), his label (founded a year later and going stronger than ever) and his 20 year+ DJ career (nuff said), but we won’t – just come down and dance your nut(s) off. And while you’re at it, give it some to Svreca, too. Tonight’s second guest, he flies in from Madrid to show us all why he’s rapidly becoming one of the European underground’s most respected DJs. Owner and curator of the frequently blinding Semantica imprint – home to the likes of Surgeon, Silent Servant and E.R.P. – he’ll be dropping a dark, challenging selection of cutting edge techno and electronica not dissimilar, we hope, to the classy set that put us onto him at Bleep43′s return party last year.
Another man firmly on the up, and a regular for us over recent times, is Ø [Phase]. His star continues to rise with tight EP after tight EP on Token and, most recently, a pounding RA podcast that once again shows off his frightening, vinyl-driven DJ skills. With a tasty pair of Rob Hood remixes about to drop on Music Man, he’s clearly firing on all cylinders right now, and we’re in no mood to halt the momentum! Keeping things firmly tough and funky, Ireland’s Lee Holman – whose self-released Kawl material and sterling work for Mowar over the years has consistently impressed – is jetting over from County Wexford for a full hardware live PA, which promises to (a) sound fat as fuck, and (b) fuck with your head; he’s someone we’ve had our eye on for quite a while now and we’re delighted to be getting him back to London for the first time in 5-odd years. Support comes from Colony regulars Tengui and CB, going deep for the early doors massive.
Bringing Scand to what’s surely its best-suited space to date, meanwhile, Cultivated Electronics’ Sync 24 has put together another killer line-up of weapon grade electro for room 2, headlined by Paris vet The Hacker, who, with a decade of caning releases behind him and a mob of fans around the world, is dropping in to play 100% (you guessed it) electro in the vane of his tough, rolling early material. Joining him, Rephlex badman DMX Krew plays live – which means all kinds of raw, flexing hardware madness – and Si Brown aka Dexorcist rocks up for a punishing trip into the darkside. Also live, Sync 24 will be showcasing the kind of stripped, trippy sounds that have seen his recent World Electronix EPs garner widespread praise, whilst Scand regulars Innume, agent2 and Steve Allman keep it strictly vinyl and consistently jumping for the purists and party nuts alike.
We’re delighted to be taking this series to our beloved Corsica, a club that continues to lead the way with its sound, programming and vibe. What’s traditionally been a free/filthy-cheap event remains, we hope, 100% affordable, with advance tickets starting at five pounds and door cover a modest tenner. And what’s built up with a vengeance at Rhythm will, we’re sure, hit harder and ring truer than ever at the place we – and pretty much all the local rave cats we know – call home. Bring it on.

Basslaced and SJM concerts join forces on Sunday 5th May to bring you Stanton Sessions at Fire, London. A cherry picked Line up featuring Joker, A Skillz and Breakage to name a few, all under one roof in one of London’s most unique venues. Funktion 1 will be supplying the sound throughout meaning that this will be a huge event in the clubbing calendar…not to be missed!

Description
Discovery Bank holiday Sunday with something a bit special headlining is Andy Blake,Mr Shiver, Neil Thornton and Arkhive are throwing a special loft party with a very special guest Dan Beaumont plus our good friends Burger Bear will be on hand to provide the disco burgers again £4 tickets on sale now from Ransom Note and RA.
Andy Blake (W/ U) -This is the bit where there’s supposed to be a long list of affiliations, previous achievements, celebrity fans and co-conspirators and stuff about how he started djing while still in the womb. for a change how about we just say that Andy currently runs the modern pagan discotheque that is World Unknown with his partner in crime Joe Hart, has been doing this long enough to know what’s what and has amassed a rather large number of rather good records for dancing to over the years. Then we can point you at a few links to mixes and you can make your own minds up. Deal?
Dan Beaumont- Dan Beaumont is an integral part of the capital’s nightlife scene, having combined his celebrated DJ career with playing out solo and as one of the founders of the seminal Disco Bloodbath.
Describing his DJ style as “a heady mix of vintage house music from Chicago, New York, Detroit and beyond, classic underground disco, sublime Italo oddities and 80′s pop noir”, it would come as little surprise that the Danceteria scene in Desperately Seeking Susan was an early influence on a young Beaumont, prompting his dreams of becoming a DJ, promoter and venue owner.
As a producer he’s worked with amazing artists such as Spencer Parker and Terry Farley, and has previously produced with his former Bloodbath co-horts, as well as being one half of basement house producing duo Jam Factory with Ben Rymer. His experience in London nightlife stretches back over a decade.

After the hugely successful re-launch of Hard Times in London with the The 3 Kings Of House event, the legendary house night returns to present ‘Legends’ at London’s top underground club Cable on Saturday May 4th, with another unbelievable stellar line-up.
The imaginative lineup combines the best of the best from both sides of the pond. First headliner Todd Terry needs NO introduction as don’t British DJ’s / Producers Norman Jay (MBE) and Joey Negro.
Hard Times London resident and guest CJ Mackintosh teams up with Justin Berkmann. This duo contributed more than anyone to the initial success of the Ministry Of Sound. This Duo teams up with Chicago’s very own Terry Hunter
and Hard Times residents Jason Shaw, Phil & Si.
The DJ’s will be spread across the 3 arenas. Quote (Steve Raine) ‘ I am really trying to create a raw clubbing experience with each of the 3 rooms offering its own unique style. Cable allows us to create the ultimate clubbing experience.
It’s the type of party that people will say in years to come, I was there…’ This event ranks as high as the Bagley’s Down & Out party & The 3 Kings Of House. It is a unmeasurable lineup of DJ’s at a London’s top underground club.

Below 8th Birthday Weekender
Saturday May 4th & Sunday May 5th
“I remember being wet behind the ears when throwing an illegal warehouse rave. It was one of the first Below Warehouse parties at Big Danny’s place in Jewellery Quarter. Non the wiser, the best solution we had for selling tickets to the customers was… eBay ‘buy it now’!”
Those are the words of one half of the team behind BELOW. The party has come a long way since then, initially having gone against the grain and thrown Sunday daytime parties. Since then, the night has inspired and influenced the city no end, with great parties in non-commercial spaces, and now they celebrate with one of their most ambitious events yet across three different venues utilizing some of The Rainbow’s most unique spaces.
The first part of the birthday takes place on May 4th at The Rainbow Warehouse, Arena and in the Rainbow Courtyard. The party has been put together by co founders Adam Shelton and Lee McDonald as an overview of their influences to date and will see a very special live PA from Inner City, plus sets from house gangster DJ Sneak, techno innovator Derrick May, New York house star Todd Terry, plus Kevin Saunderson, Mr C and of course Adam Shelton.
Then there is a return to basics; to what Below is all about – a very special afterparty running from midnight in the Rainbow Warehouse with Adam Shelton and Alex Arnout b2b, Frenchy and Tristan da Cunha b2b and for the real hardcore out there the party will carry on into Sunday just as Below always has, with more goodies in the hallowed Rainbow Courtyard – a place which lends itself perfectly to twisted afterhours activities and is the perfect encapsulation of the Below ethos. This time headlining will be hot properties Paranoid London, Matthew Styles, H Foundation, Bloody Mary and Tom Craven will all play.

In-house Bussey Building favourites Zonk.Soul have teamed up with Feather for their Launch at The CLF Art Cafe/Bussey Building. This special night will be packed with live acts throughout the night and visual experiences on both floors. The perfect way to kickstart the May Bank Holiday season!
Line-Up:
Romare (Live) (Black Acre)
Romare joins us having recently released ‘Love Songs, Part One’, following up on his highly acclaimed ‘Meditations on Afro-Centrism’ EP last year. Romare weaves footwork-like patterns, through funk n’ soul samples, to make for a unique dance experience. Also recently commissioned for an Alt-J remix.
Paul White. Ft Tenderlonious (Live) (One-Handed Music)
Paul White is a South London based hip-hop producer who easily could have been cast aside in a world full of press releases that abuse the phrase “post-Dilla.” But rather than just pairing blunted beats and cracking, off-kilter snares, he’s steadily amassed a growing fan base by injecting a psychedelic, disjointed and quite often humourous take on the genre. Recent collaborators include Danny Brown, Guilty Simpson & Homeboy Sandman.
Bambooman (Live) (Sonic Router Records)
Just about to drop the ‘Hollowed EP’ via sonic router records on April 29th, along with a recorded session for Gilles Peterson’s BBC radio show. Big things await this producer from Leeds.
Chesslo Junior
A firm favourite of us at Feather & Zonk Soul who we’ve been looking to book for quite some time. Heavy club-crunk hip-hop beats not to be confused with trap music.
Yancey Boys (Live)
South London locals, the yancey boys cannot hide their inspiration and modelling for their sound, a self-confessed tribute of sounds to J Dilla, D’Angelo, The Roots and The Robert Glasper Experiment. A 4-piece live band, sure to set the mood for the night.
Tony & The Waves (Wavey Tones)
3-man disco wrecking machine, Tony & the waves are coming for you!
City Jaxx (808)
Founder and head-resident for 808, strictly Vinyl only, with sets spanning from old detroit cuts to cutting edge techno, anything 4/4 goes and sure to get the dancefloor moving.
+ Feather & Zonk Residents
Danton (Feather)
DJ Bump and Grind (Zonk)
Mercurial (Zonk/Late Lunch)
Also keep an eye out for specially-crafted Pink & Purple drinks on sale at the bar on the night.

Summary
Please find details of the Kill The DJ and Marketing night at Dalston’s new party hub Dance Tunnel with Sex Judas performing his first ever Europe show
Description
headlining the show is Sex Judas (Sex to his mother) he’s a mysterious artist whose face has yet remained unknown, and this will be his first live show in Europe. Sex Judas a vigilante and underground musical entrepreneur working in tandem with his trusted sidekick Ricky since the dawn of time (or the death of Jesus). Myth has it that after the infamous “kiss”, Judas was damned to live on earth for eternity. He decided to make the best of it and delved head first into his true passion: music. Known as a motherfucker on the “Uggav” since his early teens, he emerged in the underground sounds of Judea and never looked back. Judas & Ricky state they are on a mission to play music that reflects the real life, in all its horny, absurd, joyous and yes sometimes evil ways…with emphasis on the bass of course! Sex Judas has been getting busy of late with two great releases on Tim Paris’ Marketing Music label My Girls avaliable here http://www.beatport.com/release/my-girls/1020149
IAFL aka Ivan and Tim are delighted to be at the helm for the rest of the night. In the midst of recording their album, they will come out of their bunker for the evening. Describing what will be played is useless, their sound is no sound. Defying categories being an imperative. As they say, ‘expect the unexpected.’ You will be dancing for sure; dancing on the edge. (If not, it means you are taking up too much space.) This is the very early or very late downbeat side of IAFL- White Light signalling the start, or the end of the tunnel..https://soundcloud.com/its-a-fine-line/white-light-72-its-a-fine-line/s-jw8Tj
latete atoto- aka Kristina and Chloe- live in London and play records. Kristina performed bass & keys with Chloe’s former band Battant, (signed to French independent label Kill The DJ). As well as playing other people’s records they both keep busy writing their own. Musical tastes are eclectic – a fact very much reflected in their record collections.
