Although British born and bred, Phil Gamble’s music is heavily indebted to sounds from across the pond, with Miami Bass, Ghettotech, Southern Hip Hop and RnB all easily discernable influences. Crucially though in his isolation of these regional styles from their context’s, he achieves an abstract reworking that is utterly unique. Debuting on Night Slugs back in 2010, Gamble has delivered club music that fits the label’s forward thinking remit.
