Kevin Martin has been actively producing a range of avant-garde music for the last twenty years. The London based producer has dabbled in a world of underground space shapes from Hip-Hop, Drone, Ragga and Dubstep. The Bug’s first album Tapping The Conversation was created with Russian DJ Vadim in 1997, but it was almost ten years later that the now solo alias would really make its mark on the UK’s music scene.
London Zoo, released in 2006, was a game changer – not just for The Bug, but for the genres surrounding it as well. With the album came dubstep anthems like ‘Skeng’ and the Ragga touched ‘Poison Dart’, both of which become iconic releases. More recently, Martin’s latest album as The Bug has been met with praise all-round and sees him show a more delicate but equally menacing side.
