‘Salpica’ is one of twelve songs from Otto Von Schirach’s album ‘Supermeng’ described as being ‘fairy tales from a different galaxy’. With this exotic description, the strange, dreamlike collection of images he conjures in the video come as no surprise. The futuristic sound effects and staccato drum composition is reminiscent of Baile Funk circa the sex-fuelled Brazilian charm of Bonde de Role; when played over the bizarre imagery of the video, the result is certainly a memorable track.
