On Saturday 2nd June Soundcrash takes it back to basics for an evening of live electronics, featuring headline sets from three original acid innovators. This is all taking place at a secret East London warehouse, for a night not to be missed!
Topping the bill will be non-other than Luke Vibert. When he’s not busy donning his Wagon Christ and Plug aliases this pioneering music maker can be found making dance floors across the world move to his unique amalgamation of acid, drum’n'bass, techno, hip hop, electro and whatever else he fancies throwing in the pot!! With a whopping 21 albums under his belt and long term ties to Rephlex, Ninja Tune, Warp Records and Planet Mu, expect a journey into the outer regions of the electronic galaxy.
Making a rare London appearance, Manchester legends 808 State will be perform a special live soundsystem set. Since penning the classics ‘Pacific State’ and ‘Cubik’ , their influence can be felt right across much of today’s electronic music scene, as it did on the trio’s formation in 1987. Their diverse sets encompass an intoxicating and hedonistic blend of techno, house and classic electronica.
Finishing of this already bumper line up is a gentleman who requires no introduction, Ceephax Acid Crew, with his tongue in cheek 8bit acid twist. Andy Jenkinson (brother to a certain Squarepusher) has been donning his musical hat since 1997 and is famed for his storming analogue live sets.

The official Field Day after party takes place in a secret East London location close to the Field Day site to be revealed closer to the date. Maya Jane Coles and Eats Everything have re-defined the term ‘fast rising stars’ this year, the white hot house heads play alongside Daniel Avery (Stopmakingme) with Dalston disco upstarts ReviveHER in room 2 with special guests to be revealed.

On Saturday June 2nd Broken & Uneven will be hosting one of three officially endorsed Field Day After Party’s at XOYO. This will be a 50 Weapons special to celebrate the release of Phon.o’s new album, Black Boulder. Featuring Phon.o – Live, Dark Sky, Anstam – Live and A VERY SPECIAL SURPRISE GUEST DJ SET!!!
The Berlin-based label, which is home to Addison Groove, Doc Daneeka, Benjamin Damage and Cosmin TRG is run by none other than Modeselektor and continues their tradition of embracing all forms of electronic music. Known for their open-ended approach to their label A&R policy, it’s this unpredictability that keeps both artists and fans on their toes.
Phon.o’s upcoming album is a welcome addition to label’s discography as the producer dishes up an extended player that promises to be a defining mission statement. With nods to the darker side of Dub, Garage and Techno and after two jaw-dropping EP’s in 2011 it’s no surprise that an album has to come to light so swiftly. Support on the night comes from London’s own Dark Sky who have turned heads since the release of ‘Radius EP’ on the label which sonically flirted with everything from House, Techno and even UK Garage at times so expect no less from their DJ set.
Ever elusive Radiohead-faves Anstam will also be treating us to a live set which will be packed full of interpretations from his recent album Dispel Dances. Somewhat of a law unto himself, Anstam’s irregular beat patterns and melodies are not for the faint-hearted so be expect plenty of leftfield beats.
The Surprise Guest won’t be revealed until the night of the party but rest assured that they will be perfectly suited for fans of this label and night…
This is an Official FIeld Day After Party.
