Corsica Studios are very pleased to announce that Sneaker Social Club will be launching their ‘London To Bristol’ Compilation with us in June. With a lineup that crosses as many genre boundaries as the compilation itself, this promises to be one hell of a party.

On Friday 1st June Broken & Uneven will be hosting the official Dimensions Festival Launch Party at a secret London venue that sees the crew behind Outlook Festival add another impressive string to their bow. This Underground Electronic Music event takes places in Croatia’s idyllic Fort Punta Christo and the cream of all scenes will take centre stage on what is becoming one of Europe’s most talked about partying destinations.
Hosting the main room on the night will be Eglo Records who have been on a roll as of late after recently celebrating their label’s third birthday and being responsible for one of 2011’s most discerning releases, the Shadows EP by label co-founder Floating Points. He will be spinning his trademark selection of rare Funk and Disco as well as off-kilter House that has seen him inspire crate diggers and vinyl lovers alike. Label-mate Alexander Nut, who’s Saturday afternoon slot on Rinse FM has become somewhat of a one-stop shop for the Eglo sound, is known for his unpredictable sets that range from Hip-Hop to House to Broken Beat and beyond whilst Funkineven’s futuristic take on House will be a journey through Acid and mercurial Funk. DMZ head honcho Mala will be making a special guest appearance alongside the Eglo camp on the night and based on past performances we can expect nothing but a barrage of unreleased dubs from one of Dubstep’s true originators. His well-renowned attention to low-end vibrations and frequencies will be warmly welcomed by our bespoke Sound Services soundsystem so get your earplugs at the ready.
Room Two see’s burgeoning warehouse promoters Beat Dimension put forward-thinking Bass/D&B shoulder to shoulder with no-holds barred House/Techno. Enlisting the talents of (recently resurrected R&S Offshoot) Apollo signing Synkro, Exit Records’ Indigo and the artist formerly known as Duffstep – Echer to represent. Leeds native Youandewan, who has released on Hypercolour and remixed for the likes of Midland, will also be on hand to lay down his warehouse friendly selection that focuses heavily on the percussive and bass heavy end of House and Bass Music.

The first Friday in June sees The Nest embark on an epic journey through the grime and UK funky new school. Presenting high-octane, bouncy and gun-finger inducing beats, three of the most promising artists on the bass music underground are set to descend on our basement disco.
Lil Silva has carved an impressive niche for himself within UK funky; always erring on the right side of credible and playing alongside house, bass and dubstep artists alike. After a renowned debut release on London label Night Slugs, the Bedford based artist has gone on to release remixes for the likes of SBTRKT, Lana Del Rey and was the first producer to drop on the up and coming Good Years imprint.
National spokesmen for instrumental grime, Elijah & Skilliam, join Lil Silva in the headline spot. Responsible for bringing the talents of Royal T, TRC, Swindle and P Money to the foreground with their influential Butterz imprint, Elijah & Skilliam are grime-aficionados-come-scene-tastemakers with a record bag full of roof off bangers and a double dance routine to match.
Faze Miyake made some serious moves in 2011, putting out several well-produced and hard edged grime tracks with airplay on Kiss, 1xtra, Rinse and loads more. Working closely alongside the likes of Merky Ace, P Money and the OGz, we’re excited to get him down for a rare London show.
Support comes from Pete Jordan and Swiss electronic pop outfit Dogtanion.

Eddy Temple-Morris & Man Like Me
Friday 1st June 2012
Friday nights at The Old Queen’s Head are an institution for partying. Each and every week we book some of the world’s most renowned DJs to come and grace our illustrious DJ booth.
Joining us on the opening weekend of June is XFM’s very own Eddy Temple-Morris. Since launching XFM’s legendary dance-rock crossover show, The Remix nearly ten years ago, Eddy has become the champion of genre-hopping and genre-breeding. The last time he played, he absolutely tore the roof off the place.
We’ve also got support from Man Like Me, who come to The Old Queen’s Head for a DJ set.
We can’t think of a better way to start the month of June.

On Saturday 2nd June Soundcrash takes it back to basics for an evening of live electronics, featuring headline sets from three original acid innovators. This is all taking place at a secret East London warehouse, for a night not to be missed!
Topping the bill will be non-other than Luke Vibert. When he’s not busy donning his Wagon Christ and Plug aliases this pioneering music maker can be found making dance floors across the world move to his unique amalgamation of acid, drum’n'bass, techno, hip hop, electro and whatever else he fancies throwing in the pot!! With a whopping 21 albums under his belt and long term ties to Rephlex, Ninja Tune, Warp Records and Planet Mu, expect a journey into the outer regions of the electronic galaxy.
Making a rare London appearance, Manchester legends 808 State will be perform a special live soundsystem set. Since penning the classics ‘Pacific State’ and ‘Cubik’ , their influence can be felt right across much of today’s electronic music scene, as it did on the trio’s formation in 1987. Their diverse sets encompass an intoxicating and hedonistic blend of techno, house and classic electronica.
Finishing of this already bumper line up is a gentleman who requires no introduction, Ceephax Acid Crew, with his tongue in cheek 8bit acid twist. Andy Jenkinson (brother to a certain Squarepusher) has been donning his musical hat since 1997 and is famed for his storming analogue live sets.

The official Field Day after party takes place in a secret East London location close to the Field Day site to be revealed closer to the date. Maya Jane Coles and Eats Everything have re-defined the term ‘fast rising stars’ this year, the white hot house heads play alongside Daniel Avery (Stopmakingme) with Dalston disco upstarts ReviveHER in room 2 with special guests to be revealed.

On Saturday June 2nd Broken & Uneven will be hosting one of three officially endorsed Field Day After Party’s at XOYO. This will be a 50 Weapons special to celebrate the release of Phon.o’s new album, Black Boulder. Featuring Phon.o – Live, Dark Sky, Anstam – Live and A VERY SPECIAL SURPRISE GUEST DJ SET!!!
The Berlin-based label, which is home to Addison Groove, Doc Daneeka, Benjamin Damage and Cosmin TRG is run by none other than Modeselektor and continues their tradition of embracing all forms of electronic music. Known for their open-ended approach to their label A&R policy, it’s this unpredictability that keeps both artists and fans on their toes.
Phon.o’s upcoming album is a welcome addition to label’s discography as the producer dishes up an extended player that promises to be a defining mission statement. With nods to the darker side of Dub, Garage and Techno and after two jaw-dropping EP’s in 2011 it’s no surprise that an album has to come to light so swiftly. Support on the night comes from London’s own Dark Sky who have turned heads since the release of ‘Radius EP’ on the label which sonically flirted with everything from House, Techno and even UK Garage at times so expect no less from their DJ set.
Ever elusive Radiohead-faves Anstam will also be treating us to a live set which will be packed full of interpretations from his recent album Dispel Dances. Somewhat of a law unto himself, Anstam’s irregular beat patterns and melodies are not for the faint-hearted so be expect plenty of leftfield beats.
The Surprise Guest won’t be revealed until the night of the party but rest assured that they will be perfectly suited for fans of this label and night…
This is an Official FIeld Day After Party.

This June Bank Holiday, The Nest presents to Dalston one of their most exciting line-ups to date with some of the world’s heaviest-disco names penned to the bill.
Heading the disco charge is a cult-DJ with a tried-and-tested record in tearing up London’s dance-floors: Lindstrøm. Joining him is Scottish producer/DJ Grum and disco-king Mighty Mouse. Also on board are Bristol’s disco-champs and Crack Magazine residents Pardon My French and bloggers Slutty Fringe.

Come party at The Westbury this June Bank Holiday with garage-gold Oxide & Neutrino. Get your dose of Bank-Holiday debauchery and get down to everything from old school classics to current bangers in one of West London’s best goodtime-bars.
Not content with being part of UK garage super group So Solid Crew, London duoOxide & Neutrino are set to throw down some serious tunes when they come to The Westbury. With a UK no.1 with classic ‘Bound 4 Da Reload (Casualty)’ and producing tracks for Lisa Mafia’s debut album ‘First Lady’ and ‘Industry Lady’ on Face’s mixtape ‘Sign 2 the Block’, their garage credentials are not to be overlooked.
Klose One joined Urban Nerds soon after the launch in 2007 and since then he has killed dancefloors across the UK with his mix of electric party beats. Expect to hear everything from dubstep, 2 step, bassline and hip-hop when he heads to The Westbury this June 3rd.
In 2001, brothers Phaze One and Blacksta joined musical forces and the ‘Star One project was born’! Racking up 150,000+ Youtube hits for a remix of the Rastamouse theme tune, they were quickly championed by Radio 1, 1xtra and MistaJam. With an Ibiza anthem under their belt and a nod from Toddla T as ‘one of the most exciting producers to emerge in 2011’ Star One are set to release their first single ‘Respect’ whilst hitting up various clubnights with their high energy, forward thinking DJ Sets.
Celebrate no-work Monday at The Westbury… as if you needed an excuse anyway?

London Ivy are proud to present ‘Emissions’, and invite you all to join us as we disclose the promotion in all its sincere, naked ferocity. We move to liberate ourselves from containment and so to discharge our reactive, inner-core; a fissile, uncompromising material with a distinctly synthetic centre and a metal outer shell. London’s liveliest hip-hop party has gained notoriety for consistent roadblocks since it started 4 years ago. Having already put on parties and events with the likes of A$AP Rocky, A-Trak, Jay Electronica, Ali Shaheed Muhammed, Pharoahe Monche and Slum Village to name a few – people are really starting to pay attention to this club night and DJ crew…
For this very special Bank Holiday Special, they join forces with Broken & Uneven and invite Warp Records’ Hudson Mohawke for a very special hip-hop set. Hudson Mohawke first played an all hip-hop set when Livin’ Proof took over the Boiler Room in August 2010 and that show has since become one of the most loved and requested shows in Boiler Room’s short but incredible history.
Considering Hudson Mohawke is now working and producing for some of the biggest names in hip-hop (Kanye West… you may have heard of him?), expect to hear some extra special exclusive hip-hop dub-plates played on the night.
Soundtracking the night will be the whole Livin’ Proof crew – Rags, Snips, Budgie, Khalil and hosted by The Last Skeptik. We advise you to get your tickets early to avoid disappointment…

GESSAFELSTEIN

After his incredible last show at The Nest, we welcome Gesaffelstein back with open arms. Joining him is his partner in crime Maelstron. With an EP set to drop of Gesaffelstein’s label ‘Zone’, these guys are set to make one hell of a party.

THE PLAYGROUND presents a night of electro and moombahton featuring CROOKERS + MORD FUSTANG + ALEX METRIC and godfather of the moombahton movement DAVE NADA and Matt Nordstrom aka NADASTROM + more @ KOKO on Saturday the 9th June.
The world renowned italian DJ/production duo CROOKERS, (Bot and Phra) have worked together since 2003 headlining festivals worldwide. With their remix of Kid Cudi’s “Day’N'Nite” entering the UK Singles Chart at number 2 the duo signed a deal with Interscope Records, and they released their new single “We Love Animals” under the label as their first single of their upcoming second studio album.
In May 2011, Crookers released their second album Dr Gonzo on MAD DECENT featuring Savage Skulls, Neoteric, and Wax Motif and has been described as a return to their original style.
After studying music at college in Guildford, ALEX METRIC released a string of singles on a series of small dance labels, a mix of progressive house, breakbeat and techno. His break came in 2006 when he signed to Adam Freeland’s Marine Parade label. Now one of dance music’s most exciting new talents he’s already working on his full artist album. Actually, it’s his second, but he canned the first one because he didn’t think it was good enough. “There are two sides to me,” he says. “I have this love of ’80s synth funk, but also this epic, tears of MDMA joy sound.” The unreleased album was the former, but the latter defines him now. “Because I put my heart and soul into my remixes, they haven’t dated. That’s really important to me, that they don’t date like a lot of dance music does.” he says.
In May HAEZER will embark on another European tour after playing in Germany, Italy, Holland, Czech Republic, Portugal and Austria late last year. While on tour, HAEZER was invited to play the legendary BEATPATROL festival in Vienna. His set followed Steve Aokiʼs on the DIM MAK stage which also hosted names such as Moby, Mr Oizo, Afrojack, Dada Life, Felix Cartal and Cyberpunkers.
HAEZER joins us for a single London show this year before heading back to play a string of festivals across Europe. One of the rising stars in the electro camp catch HAEZER before he explodes!
Supporting will be the godfather of rising Moombahton movement across the pond, DAVE NADA and MATT NORDSTROM aka NADASTROM. Basically a sub-genre of electronic dance music and Reggaeton, Dave stumbled upon the genre in 2009 by combining Dutch House slowed down to 108- 110 bpm along with fusing reggaeton beats and percussion.
With support from breakthrough act BWANA, recently signed to MAD DECENT, FERAL IS KINKY, NEOTERIC, ESSBEEDEE, PUNX SOUNDCHECK, DELOOZE, STARPUNK, PHOTOMATIC, DAN MCKIE, MAKSIMCZYK and LOST BOYS THE PLAYGROUND embarks on another rambunctious affair bringing you the best in electronic music!!

Step up, step up! krankbrother are very proud to announce our boldest party yet – a daytime STREET PARTY right in the heart of Shoreditch on June 9th. That’s right – we will be closing down Clifton Street (EC2A) in Shoreditch at both ends, and running a whole afternoon of electronic music, including performances from Wolf & Lamb, Guti, Stimming (Live), Adeline and krankbrothers.
Here at krankbrother, we’ve always looked on enviously at the fantastic Notting Hill Carnival. We felt strongly that we in East London should be able to celebrate East London’s thriving electronic music scene in the same grand tradition of the British Street Party. That is what this event is all about – celebrating East London’s diverse and hugely popular dance music scene, all in a wonderful outdoor setting in the heart of Hackney. It’s taken a lot of hard work to get the event organised and authorised by the authorities, which makes us even happier to be going ahead with it!
The event will feature a large stage, and all the top end production levels that have become synonymous with all krankbrother events.
There will also be delicious hot food on offer all day from La Piadina Pronta, and several other fantastic trraders. La Piadina Pronta will serve hot, made-to-order Piadina (Italian flat bread) filled with fresh ingredients sourced from local producers. Each Piadina comes with a thin layer of sundried tomato paste, and is filled with your choice of freshly cut meat (parma ham, salami, mortadella), cheese (buffalo mozzarella, stracchino) and salad. We will also have delicious juicy organic burgers and much much more. So please come with an appetite!
On the drinks side, as well as the usual array, we will also be serving some British summer classics like Pimms, Tom Collins and Punch.
The party will run from 1pm – 10pm, and there will be an indoor after-party starting immediately afterwards (tickets & info will be available shortly).

Ikonika’s unique synth driven productions and razor sharp dj sets have established her as one of the major talents in the UK’s electronic music scene.
Following her debut album for Hyperdub, she set up the Hum + Buzz imprint with like minded dj/producer Optimum (Night Slugs/Planet Mu), overseeing excellent releases from the likes of Brenmar and Dro Carey. The label’s next release comes from Ikonika herself, and to mark this the Hum + Buzz duo are throwing their first club night, playing alongside a specially selected line up of DJs.
Anyone who has seen Mr Beatnick play live or listened to his NTS show will know that he is a man of eclectic and impeccable taste. Production wise he specialises in deep, soulful house affairs such as Sun Goddess and Synthetes, which are gaining him the attention he richly deserves.
Also channelling house, albeit from a darker and harder angle, is Alex D££mnds, whose debut release, Credentials, found its way onto Martyn’s Radio 1 Essential Mix earlier this year.
Finally, former Battant member and Weatherall collaborator Timothy J. Fairplay will be bringing his special brand of analogue jams to the mix after recent releases for World Unknown, Astro Lab and Bird Scarer. Support on the night comes from the LDN DC residents DRX, Tramshed and Valdar.

We could not be more excited to have NY house DJ The Juan Maclean behind the decks. Part of the DFA family, Juan Maclean’s (aka John MacLean) soul-blend of early 90s disco-house and electro has seen him continually on the up throughout the last few years. Playing The Nest’s launch way-back-when; we know how good this guy can be.
In support is another from the New York/DFA faithful: Shit Robot. Taking his share of the disco, house and electro sound, his productions and re-works soundtrack dancefloors across the board.
Analogue synth wielding, tape loop layering and post-punk vocal crooning band Factory Floor are also on board and set to perform a rare live dance set. Keeping it local in their East London hub, they debut at The Nest with their DFA label mates for a Lovebox after party blow out that is not to be missed!
Rory Phillips completes the DJ bill while London based electronic live duo Plant Plants kick start the liveness.

AUDIOJACK
- the Leeds (UK) based DJs, producers and label owners making big waves in recent years with original productions and remixes for labels such as 20:20 Vision, Leftroom, Get Physical, Diynamic and their own rapidly expanding Gruuv imprint.
Whilst it was their robotic techno sound that filled the dance floors in their early years launching them onto the international stage it is their current deeper and housier style which has thrust them back into the spotlight, reaffirming their ability to produce groovy underground music across the genres whilst maintaining their own strong signature sound.
The first release of 2012 came out on Gruuv in February features two Audiojack originals with massive remixes from FCL, Gorge and Waifs & Strays. Collaborations with Noir, Ruede Hagelstein and Stee Downes are expected to follow soon after, along with a brand new EP on 20:20 Vision and another, soon to be revealed label.
WAIFS & STRAYS
- Their debut track – 2010’s late night ‘3am’ – was rapidly snapped up for Matt Tolfrey’s Leftroom imprint, and set the benchmark high for future success; featuring in DJ Mag’s essential releases, and picking up props from major players including Luciano, DJ T, Anja Schneider, dOP, Danny Tenaglia and Laurent Garnier.
The follow-up record ‘Yeah Yeah’, gathered significant international support following its debut at the last year’s Detroit Music Conference, smashing dancefloors from Fabric to Watergate. With Heidi calling it ‘the dirtiest house track I have heard in a very long time’ and featuring it on her Radio1 show, and set to be one of the must-have releases of 2011.
2011 saw tracks and remixes forthcoming on the likes of Get Physical, Hot Creations, Leftroom and Futureboogie, including exclusive cuts for the ‘Five Years Of Leftroom’ and Heidi’s hotly-anticipated ‘Jackathon’ compilations. They are one of the UK’s most in demand acts so 2012 will se them go from strength to strength.
HOT SINCE 82
- Flying back from Sonar festival especially for this gig, “Hot Since 82” (A.K.A Daley Padley ) is no stranger to the scene and has been producing music and playing for over 10 years, headlining Pacha, Ministry of Sound & touring the world extensively. Recognized as a established producer and writer with a publishing deal to match, Hot since 82 is on the verge of once again pleasing the sound of the underground with his ground breaking original productions and his extended live sets
Busy in the studio, Hot Since 82 has just completed a new remix for noir music, a remix for Berlin’s Off Recordings, a new e.p for Noir music, Even Radio 1’s very own Jaymo & Andy George have been kicking down the door for the sound of “Hot Since 82.”
With an array of future releases and remixes, and his burning passion to produce quality house music, It’s sure the talk on everyone’s lips over the next 12 months will be “ Hot Since 82”
GILES SMITH
- Is a man who needs no introduction. With a CV that is enviable by dj’s and promoters alike, the father of the world famous secretsundaze is joining us as a very special guest courtesy of Gottwood.
For those who don’t know, secretsundaze launched in 2001 and in a short period of time, secretsundaze became the hottest ticket in town for both guest DJ’s / Live Act’s (Ricardo Villalobos, Carl Craig, Steve Bug, Luciano, Ame, Losoul, Ivan Smagghe, Jay Haze, Rhadoo, Cobblestone Jazz, Mountain People, Keith Worthy and Jus Ed to name a few); and party people from all over Europe.
These colourful summer Sunday daytime parties have also made secretsundaze the darling of the UK media with it being voted “Best Club Night” by readers of Time Out in London in “The Time Out Live Awards 2005” and awarded the accolade “Club of The Year” in the January 2006 edition of Mixmag. secretsundaze also became known for taking risks with bookings, breaking new, fresh talent in the UK, something which Giles was largely responsible for. The buzz about secretsundaze has also spread across Europe with hugely successful parties taking place in Ibiza, Sonar Festival In Barcelona, Miami and Austria and Snowbombing
Musically his style is focussed around Deep House and Techno with a warm, hypnotic feel. However his sets draw on many styles from Chicago to Detroit to more modern European influences and we are truly honoured to have him play.
GOTTWOOD
-Finally for those of you who don’t know, Gottwood have gained a reputation for spotting new talent and breaking them in, breaking some current luminaries such as Casino Times, Koreless, Max Cooper, Objekt and Dark Sky into the festival circuit before anyone else.
The Welsh festival is situated in Angsley, and takes place from the 21st to the 24th of June. This year is no exception to the rule, the organisers staging massive coups over the whole period. Man of the moment Mosca is the biggest draw, along with house titan Move D and shady disco-dons Tiger & Woods. However, the shrewd choices become apparent further down the list, with up and comer Huxley, Appleblim and Arkist rounding off what is an eclectic, thoughtful set of headliners. This one is a no-nonsense, honest representation of some of the best in electronic music this year so we hope to see you there!!!

Switching the beat is Alex Metric. Bringing his grinding electronic output to this week’s agenda, Alex’s pop-centric ethos will no doubt head a pumping summer night out.

Saving lives, changing futures and delivering some of the best club nights in Europe.
La Vita’s home grown residents and massive headline DJ’s have delivered some mammoth events over the past 4 years so it’s not surprising that they’ve amassed a loyal following while raising over £22,000 for Breakthrough Breast Cancer.
2012 will see us return for our 5th Birthday in which we will be enlisting some of London’s much loved artists along with our AMAZING residents for an event that will, like all the others before, live long in the memory!
We have always tried to try something a little bit different with our events and keep ahead of the game and we are sure you will love what we have in store for you this time around. On the 23rd June we take over The Brixton Clubhouse in the blazing summer sun (hopefully). The event will run for 10 straight hours covering a wide musical spectrum of sounds not often heard on the underground scene in London.
Although our parties stand alone with the standard of music and the unique vibe we create the best part is that every single penny from this event goes to aid Breast Cancer Research through our affliate, Breakthrough (Registered Charity Number 1062636)
Please feel free to attend, share, like and tweet this event. We couldnt do what we do without the support of YOU.
PLEASE NOTE: THIS IS A TICKET ONLY EVENT

The unstoppable Red Bull Music Academy is teaming up with an icon of the UK’s garage scene, as they proudly announce a mini-tour with MJ Cole and friends across some of the UK’s best venues.
MJ Cole, one of the forefathers of the UKG sound and unapologetic lover of a bassline, will host five dates at the end of June, visiting Edinburgh, Dundee, Liverpool, Swindon and London. MJ is known for his productions including the top ten hit “Crazy Love”, the albums “Sincere” and “Cut To The Chase” plus a Mercury nomination and MOBO Best Producer Award. Completing the line-up is Serocee, who has carved a name that is synonymous with the musical forefront of club culture. After two vibrant and busy years on the scene, putting on intimate parties at various London establishments and showcasing a sound synonymous with today’s thriving and dynamic bass music arena, Soltek return on June 30th to celebrate their second birthday at the CAMP Basement.
Staying true to their ethos and to mark the occasion in style, Soltek have put together a lineup that’s sure to tickle your taste buds and make this one hell of a party. First up we have Coat of Arms, and if you haven’t heard of them, where have you been? A musical duo comprising of Chris James & Eats Everything, they have a mutual love of big bass, melodic chords and slick beats and are fast becoming the one’s to watch in 2012. “Is This Something” the boys debut record was put at position number 3 in Mixmag’s Top 10 Feature for August 2011. Get Physical’s Heidi has bigged the lads up in her DJ Mag column. Jamie Jones has featured “Is This Something” in his Live Essential Mix from Ibiza On Radio 1, as well as his debut Fabric CD mix. With previous releases on renowned labels such as Pets Recordings and Futureboogie, and with plenty of exciting material in the pipeline, it’s easy to see why these guys are starting to become hot property.
Next on the bill is a young gentleman who has certainly been making a name for himself of late, Graphics. His recent tracks and remixes have been picking up support from the likes of Jamie xx, Mary Anne Hobbs, Diplo, Switch, Rob Da Bank and he made waves in 2011 with his releases for Granholme and GETME! With just a handful of 12s Graphics has shown that he is as equally adept at crafting up front dance floor cuts such as “Wiping the Eye” as he is at producing low slung off-key electronica bits like “There’s a Way Back”. Cited by KMag as one of the Top 10 bass producers to watch out for in 2012, it’s safe to say that Graphics is destined for big things this year and beyond.
Support comes in the form of a back-to-back set from Soltek residents Daffadam and Medlam, alongside special guests Optimus Times and Tommy Blunt. Not forgetting our resident VJs Mind Over Matter who will be providing our live visuals and effects all night long.
