On the first evening of March, Robert Henke will be bringing his Ghosts in Surround Tour to Room One as part of a multi dimensional, immersive audio and visual experience. The tour comes as Henke releases ‘Ghosts’, the 9th studio album to be released under the Monolake moniker, which is set for release on 27th February through his own Imbalance Computer Music label. The entirety of the album was composed in Ableton Live, a digital audio workstation that Henke, a true advocate of the possibilities of technology, himself helped develop.

You get it by now, Whoopie!!!!!
Forget all the techno black and ketamine basement invasion after-parties with suprise lazers and out of season christmas tree installations. Save all that stuff for Saturdays and Fridays, but on the first Thursday of every month, after getting all cultural and bored on Brick Lane, try a jog or bus up to Stokey and have your first cold non-free beer at Whoopie Party!!
This month we have HOTTIES from cool bands who like really fun, party beatz, Tahita Bulmer (FIT) and Sarah Jones (FIT) and maybe the other two (FIT)(FIT) from NEW YOUNG PONY CLUB… DJing some booty bass and smooth jazz hits, not just 80′s electro and some garage anthems like you might expect… so I hear they are really big in Australia.
Also for the girls, we have the NZCA/LINES tough guys, all my lady friends have said these guys are HOT, I wouldn’t know being a hetrosexual male but they have good taste my friends so yeah… Anyway they play really cool Hip Hip x Electronica Clash stuff, always vibin’ to darrr mixxxisss.
Heres one… http://soundcloud.com/lo-loaf-recordings/nzca-lines-nzca-2046-mixtape
Obvz me and Vince will be there to fill the gap and promote the new dance routine… I love you my babyzzz xxxx

We’re teaming up with the Red Bull Music Academy to bring you a very special Discoclash, coming to East Village on Thursday March 1st.
Born after some serious banter between dub-lord Skream and boogie/instru-hip-hop protagonist Krystal Klear, the party sees some bass heavyweights relieve the subs for a night to lay down some more funky jams.
With Skream having played the odd disco set for fun, new kid on the block Krystal Klear piped-up and laid down the challenge, offering to show Croydon’s finest just how its done. Teaming up with Manchester hero and Hoya:Hoya fav Jon K plus very special secret guest tba, the love-in marks the first party of the Red Bull Music Academy application phase.

Since being established in 2006, the Hush House blog has been bringing music fans worldwide the latest and greatest in new talent from a broad cross-section of genres. Artists come and go, certain styles fall in and out of favour, but our commitment to quality has always …been maintained. Yes, many things have changed since our inception… but this is where we are today.
For our official Leeds launch party on 3rd March 2012, we bring to Mint Club…
SCUBA vs. SCB [hotflush]
MIDLAND [aus music]
MANO LE TOUGH [permanent vacation]
Boundary pushing, genre hopping man of the moment SCB was an obvious choice for our headliner. With new single ‘The Hope’ currently destroying dancefloors everywhere from London to Lagos, and new “Personality” LP set to drop at the end of February, 2012 is set to be SCB’s biggest year yet. Expect the Berlin resident to provide an unrelenting two-hour journey through Berghain-indebted techno rollers, fear-house stompers and sub-heavy steppers. SCB, Scuba, Spectr, Paul Rose… call him what you like, he’s going to tear Mint Club in half.
One-time Leeds lad Harry Agius, alias Midland, hit the big time following the release of ‘Your Words Matter’, 2010’s collaborative effort produced in conjunction with housemate and Hessle chief Ramadanman. Midland’s productions are of the rolling and reflective variety, taking house, techno and bass music influences into account with little regard for genres or tags. His DJ sets dig deep into electronic music’s past and present, illustrating a keen understanding of just how to get a crowd moving.
Fresh off the back of his much-fêted XLR8R podcast and with gigs everywhere from Panorama Bar to Corsica Studios under his belt, the talented Irishman-turned-Berliner Mano Le Tough is set for a busy one in 2012. A stream of quality releases on Buzzin’ Fly, Dirt Crew and, most recently, Prins Thomas’ own Internasjonal label showcases his knack for slow, carefully considered and highly emotive house music. As he prepares to drop his debut LP on Permanent Vacation in the coming months, we think you’re going to be seeing this name around a lot more.

Williams headlining – now we’re shining our shoes and counting down the hours to our next East Village party on Saturday 3rd March, which promises bigger and better things to come with a dazzling array of talent from across the musical spectrum.

Join the dodo aboard the Battersea Barge at The Dodo Club launch party, where Pyramid Transmissions & Plaid DJs will take you on a voyage of electronic discovery. Dancing and enjoyment is very much encouraged, in a relaxed and quirky atmosphere. There’s a chill out area upstairs, plus a great smoking area outside, with a breathtaking view of the river.

We can now officially announce our debut show “Jump&Bounce Premier”. This event has been specially curated for our bass lovers. Your unforgettable night will take place on Friday 8th March 2013 at a venue that has played host to superstar Radio 1 DJ, Skream in the past, Kensington Town Hall. We have managed to get the most exciting acts for our big launch party and every single one of them are definitely ones to watch in 2013. So without further or due, Let the bass begin…
BOBBY TANK – https://soundcloud.com/bobbytank – A fast rising star on the dubstep scene, quietly emerged from the ether a little over a year ago. He is now evolving the genre as a face of the post-dubstep movement. His music, an aggressive mix of grooving 80’s funk and glitch heavy beats, escapes simple definition. Bobby Tank, a Harrow boy, has perhaps described his music best, likening it to, “Rick James riding a flying unicorn along Orion’s belt whilst smoking a crack pipe.”
TROY GUNNER – https://soundcloud.com/troygunner – Hailing from somewhere near Bath, the young producer certainly demonstrates an experience beyond his years, using often simple means to create infectious and accomplished music. Using an amalgamation of field recordings, crafted drumwork and densely textured sonics, Troy Gunner creates playful music that permeates the senses. And one thing’s for sure, he likes to party.
ETON MESSY (DJ SET) – https://soundcloud.com/etonmessy – These four lads created a YouTube channel dedicated to showcasing new Future Garage inspired music and from it, they have become an internet sensation and even run their own club night. Now they come to JUMP&BOUNCE to spread the love on a music genre they so dearly love.
PÁLE – https://soundcloud.com/thisispale – This young melodic bass savvy producer has hit the London scene with full force, his smooth sophisticated climatic touch has brought invigorating life to his unique style and we are delighted to welcome him to the Jump&Bounce stage.
And just when you couldn’t get enough, we also have a SECRET HEADLINER. Rumour has it, this artist has collaborated with two very recent Top 10 chart toppers?! We will be releasing this secret headliner at a later date so stay tuned on the relevant pages for more details.

There is little argument amongst real Hip-Hop heads that A Tribe Called Quest are the greatest group to have ever done it so it seemed only right that we pay tribute to the queens native that have released four of the best Hip-Hop Albums ever recorded and are now the subject of a award winning and Sundance selected full length feature documentary that we are screening on the night.
With Mr Thing & Spin Doctor spinning Tribe inspired sets taking in original breaks, solo work and guest appearances this is sure to be a night of Edutainment in the ‘Low End Theory’ of Q-Tip, Phife Dawg, Ali Shaheed Muhammed, Jarobi and of course the late great J-Dilla.

TRIX fires into 2012 to welcome a man who has played an integral part in house and techno for nearly a decade – Simon Baker. Expect the sky-high calibre of unadulterated house as heard on the pioneering 2020 Vision, a label responsible for releases by Paul Woolford and Maya Jane Coles. The effortlessly ripe productions of Midland sit perfectly alongside the sensational George Fitzgerald whilst Deadboy’s garage-house is the cherry on top. Not to mention new kid on the block, Pedestrian – all hosted by Mind Over Matter’s stunning visuals.
The über-cool Deadplate Records hosts arch two with latest Hemlock gem – Randomer – featuring alongside Artifact, James Fox and Deadplate founder, Synamatix.

PIPE DREAMS; the shards of ideas and ambitions that rarely see the light of day, whether it’s clambering onto a railroad track with a spray can, picking up the camera and documenting your burning passion, to locking down in the studio and creating the hottest sound on road, this is an event that gives due props to those who dared to dream.
For our debut event, we’ve decided to go IN and show you exactly what we do.
Kicking things off at 6pm, we have a painstakingly curated exhibition of the most infamous writers in the Graffiti scene; ZOMBY, TIZER and FAWN. They’ve linked us up with an amazing collection of canvases, some created specifically for this event, with a loose theme around male and female forms.
From 8pm-9pm it’s time to dim the lights and reach for the popcorn as we screen the UK PREMIER of Alexander Rosforths groundbreaking Dancehall doc, MAN OOMAN. A no-holds-barred look at daggering and gender relations in Jamaica, this blew our minds and is exclusive to Pipe Dreams.
10pm and its time to get the beats rolling with some of the best in UK House, Bass and Grime; A full live set from local boy DOOPLER, armed with an MPC and some of the sickest beats around, this boy goes hard! Next up is Moscow-born, LDN resident, and XLR8R-tipped LOKIBOI, supplying some of the best house we’ve heard in a long time. Up and coming beatsmiths PIRI PIRI will be mixing up all manner of percussive bass madness, with forthcoming material on Sounds Of Sumo, bookings at Outlook and Boomtown Fair, do not slip on these boys! And if that wasn’t enough, we’ve roped in a SUPER SECRET HEADLINER; Rinse FM regular, Night Slugs capo and one of the best producers in the game, those who know, know.
With the event hosted by Pipe Dreams family and Rinse FM badman ASBO, this is going to be the best vibes you ever spent a fiver on.

Forget the Euro’s, the Golden Jubilee Celebrations and the Olympics – March 17th is the date you’ll be needing to note down in your diaries in 2012 as we bring you another edition of our rather spanking nofitstate parties.
Following on from our monster NYD bash we bring you yet more high spirited hi-jinx with a top notch headliner in the form of Motor City Drum Ensemble. Having been raised on a diet of Jazz, Soul & Funk from an early early age Danilo Plessow first started releasing tracks when he was 15, it was, however, when he started producing under the Motor City moniker in 2007 (so called because of his home town of Stuggart’s car production history) that the dance music community really sat up and took note. The ‘Raw Cuts’ series on his own MCDE ploughed a new furrow through the often derivative deep house scene with their fresh sample heavy low slung grooves; three of the singles feature in Juno Records all time top selling single chart – no mean feat tough climate for vinyl sales in recent years.
For an example of the man’s dj talent look no further than 2011′s ‘DJ Kicks’ comp – magically weaving a tapestry of different genres together, from Sun Ra to Robert Hood, to create a brilliantly cohesive soundscape and one of last years most intriguing blends.
Next up on the bill is tINI. Intrinsically linked to Loco Dice’s fantastic Desolat imprint, tINI released her debut album ‘Tessa’ for the label last October and has since fortified her position as one of the rising talentsin dance music with a slew of gigs including a worldwide tour with Marco Carola. tINI’s style is many and varied, from deeper sleek tripped out journeys to energy packed main room rides as we’re really excited to be hosting her at nofitstate.
As ever, our ship’s captain Geddes will be in attendance spinning a blend of techno and house in his own inimitable style. 2012 promises to be a landmark year for the Mulletover man with singles on Poker Flat and his own nofitstate imprint looking towards a potential bonanza dj schedule
We look foward to seeing you down the front!

A homage to a darker, more industrial side of bass music, and another banger, obviously.

Over the last 14 years Kompakt has carved out a brand of electronic music that embraces electronica, minimal techno and pop. The label has helped shape the future of world techno with its own distinctive style, and the name has become synonymous with adventurous, forward thinking electronic music. With that in mind Corsica Studios is delighted to welcome the Cologne based imprint for a new series of label showcases starting this spring.
Line up
Room 1: Robag Wruhme, Sascha Funke, Terranova, Visuals by Okinawa 69 & Matt Sawyer
Room 2: hosted by H&P: Matias Aguayo, Alejandro Paz & Auntie Flo

Corsica Studios is extremely proud to announce the first edition in a new series of Kompakt label showcases. Label stalwarts Robag Wruhme and Sascha Funke will be playing extended sets and they’ll be joined by Terranova, who’ll be airing tracks from his new album, and Matt Sawyer from the notorious Acid Casuals / Brand New Fiction. We’re also delighted to announce that Huntleys and Palmers are taking over room 2 to celebrate the new release by Alejandro Paz.
Chilean Alejandro Paz first came to our attention via a track which was included in a mix from his schoolfriend, Diegors of Cómeme fame. That track was ‘Callejero’ and we still can’t get it out our head. Billed as the ‘Latin Township Funk’ it will be released in March and what better way to celebrate than with a launch party starring two of our favourite artists / producers / collaborators; Matias Aguayo and Auntie Flo.
Matias Aguayo
One-man-hit-machine Matias Aguayo is one of the the most talented, exciting and unique producers in electronic music right now. Responsible for our favourite label, Cómeme and introducing the world to the likes of Rebolledo, Daniel Maloso, Diegors, DJs Pareja and Ana Helder. His own productions on Kompakt and Soul Jazz span a host of genres and influences and permeates a healthy doze of fun which is lacking in many of his peers. His live DJ set is one of the best we’ve ever seen and takes in live vocals, percussion and great deal of groove.
Auntie Flo
With two sell out releases in 2011 under his belt, a growing fan base which counts Ricardo Villalobos, Andrew Weatherall, Gilles Peterson. Caribou and Jackmaster amongst its members, topping the end of year charts, a smashing live show and an RA championed mix; Auntie Flo’s arrival has been triumphant! This year will see the release of mini-album, Future Rhythm Machine, a slew of top remixes for the likes of Photonz, festival appearances residencies at Glasgow’s Sub Club and Plastic People. 2012 is sure to be his year.
Alejandro Paz
With remixes and releases for H&P, History Clock, Cómeme on the way, Ale is tipped for big things. A classically trained musician, his productions owe as much to House music from the streets of Chicago and South Africa’s townships as it does his Latin roots and his DJ sets take in a mixture of boogie, Chicago house, Italo, combined with the unique latin twist from his Cómeme amigos.

Following a golden year for both labels in 2011, Terror Danjah’s Hardrive and Elijah & Skilliam’s Butterz are set to return to London’s Cable club for another head to head session this month, following last summers huge affair with Kode9, P Money, Swindle and more.
This time around the Boy Better Know man and one of the UK’s best grime MC’s JME headlines, alongside a healthy contingent from the Butterz and Hardrive crews including DOK, Royal T, Swindle, Terror Danjah and vocalist Ruby Lee Ryder, UK funky star Champion, plus of course Elijah & Skilliam.

THE PLAYGROUND have just announced their first event of the year at KOKO on Saturday the 24th March.
The show will be headlined by the French-electro super-producer KAVINSKY, in this one off London appearance. He will have support from the ED BANGER crew: BREAKBOT, FEADZ and MICKEY MOONLIGHT, along with YELLE- Dj’s’ LIVE and UNICORN KID plus loads more.

There are few producers who merge the lines between Hip Hop, early 90s Hardcore, Techno and Electronic quite so effortlessly, which maybe one reason as to why he continues to get the highest props from some of the biggest (from Kode to Rustie to James Holden).
DUB PHIZIX will also be on show, after recently releasing “Marka”, possibly one of the biggest tunes of 2011, this coming year is set to be a huge one with anticipated releases in the coming months on Exit Records, Creative Source, Commercial Suicide, Innerground, Samurai Music and more. Tempo Clash resident OM UNIT rounds up Room 1, he’s on fire right now, check for forthcoming remixes / collaborations with Daedalus, dBridge, Danny Breaks & Machinedrum. The party won’t stop in the second room; expect pure beats, bass-lines, wheel-ups, the MC, chaos. Tempo Clash crew members BLUE DAISY, KIDKANEVIL and OFFSHORE are joined by a host of emerging talent in HANDBOOK, FYBE:ONE & TEHBIS (all to be checked!)

Streets Of Beige, The Centrifuge and 44 collaborate for The Centrifuge’s 5th Birthday with hardware enthusiast and all-round acid/techno/house purveyor Danny Wolfers aka Legowelt.
Although his output stretches back to 1996, Legowelt really got his footing from 2000 with releases on seminal Dutch label Bunker, followed by stunning work for Creme Organisation, Cocoon, Strange Life and in more recent years M>O>S, L.I.E.S, Echovolt and Clone. Such a schmorgasbord of label releases leaves Legowelt as a heavily individual artist, which is why it seems fitting that he should self-release his most recent LP ‘The TEAC Life’, and after offering it for free download was convinced enough to press the album in a four 12″ pack due to the overwhelming demand. A true electronic innovator and master of real techno, Legowelt’s live show is a spectacle not to be missed and if his recent Beats In Space mix is anything to go by London will be in for a night to remember.
Support comes from legendary R&S/Replex acid techno connoisseur Mike Dred, Manchester’s organic house duo Deep Space Orchestra, machine-master Ed Chamberlain and the much-hyped new Traum signing Ither.

Of Saturday 31st March, we are teaming up with Odd Rituals for something even more special than our usual Dalston residency. The venue is a 300 capacity space in Shoreditch that will be announced on the day. Whilst that remains secret, the line-up does not. Alongside familiar B2B faces Kezokichi, Pressplay and Alex Carlé, we bring you two amazing djs that we are very excited about: French icon The Hacker, and Numbers and RinseFM star Spencer.
The Hacker
Be it through his solo releases, his expansive DJ touring, his acclaimed co-production and live performances alongside Miss Kitten. The Hacker has always stood out as a unique figure in today’s electronic music world. Having had such an impact on dance music when blazing a trail through the infamous electroclash scene, it would have been easy for The Hacker to switch his style to stay on trend. However, like fellow retro-futurists I-F, Dopplereffekt and Alden Tyrell, The Hacker remains true to the history and emotions that fuel this music. As such, he knows exactly how to slay a dancefloor.
Spencer
Whilst a lot younger our 2nd headliner is another for whom the history of music is as important, as the present. Having spent his formative years in Glasgow music institution Rubadub Records, Spencer’s sets are built on a rock solid musical foundation. Add to this the fact that he is co-founder of Numbers, probably the most on-point label on the planet, has a RinseFM residency alongside Jackmaster, and what you get is someone who can join the dots between past and present like few others. Oh, and did we mention that beyond his unquestionable taste, he is a badman dj? It is no secret that Spencer is Mr Miyagi to Jackmaster’s Daniel-San. Expect the expert.
Also expect our usual high production values, with great sound and a stunning visual installations delivered by the wonderful Florence To.
We look forward to seeing you.

Demdike Stare are a big new favourite in the ATP office and we’re excited to present a unique London show from them.
Demdike Stare is the occult project from Miles Whittaker and Sean Canty. Miles is probably better known as Modern Love’s DJ MLZ or as 0.5 of Pendle Coven. Sean Canty is the dedicated digger behind the Haxan events and a member of the hugely respected Finders Keepers crew of vinyl vultures. Their collaborative project tracks the sonic leylines of cult soundtracks, Arabesque dubs and psychotomimetic ephemera with a proper Lancastrian twist.
On Saturday 31st March Demdike Stare will headline at London’s beautiful Union Chapel where their A/V show will will texture map the inside of the chapel during the show. Tickets are on sale now.

On Saturday the 31st March 2012, TROUBLE VISION returns to Corsica Studios with a lineup armed and primed to drag you out of Winter and into Spring.
Heading up Room 1 we are very pleased to announce that Detroit’s Theo Parrish will be returning to E&C. Back at the first Double Trouble Vision in January 2011, Theo headlined the Saturday edition of the two day party with a set that became a real highlight of 2011 and we can’t wait to see him doing it all over again.
Line up
Room 1: Theo Parrish, Bicep, Park Ranger
Room 2: Mosca, Hackman, Eliphino, Mr Solid Gold & Tom Boogaloo

MAX CHAPMAN (Hot Creations/Lower East) – Deep House
We are really pleased to have MAX CHAPMAN headline the launch party. With top labels Hot Creations and Lower East all over this guy, he’s definitely pushing the right buttons and rising the ranks really quick. We’re really looking forward to his signature bass driven deep house set, and are really confident that he will do justice to the Funktion One sound system in the basement of The Star of the Kings.
SUPPORTING DJ’s:
SOUND GYPSY (Dobara/Nëim) – Nu Disco/Deep House
SAHPE (Dobara) – Nu Disco/Deep House
OH’Acre [live] (Dobara) – Electronica
Lineup so far…
Paul van Dyk
+ many more to be announced
As one of the most influential electronic music artists of all time, Paul van Dyk needs no introduction. His revolutionary and visionary productions have set trends for the past two decades, whilst his legendary DJ performances have helped build a colossal, global fanbase. PvD returns to the Capital on Saturday 31st March to launch his new album ‘Evolution’, at a London venue he has never played before.
PvD is one of the pioneers of electronic music, having transformed the sound of techno and house, trifled and designed the melody of trance, whilst harmonizing peaceful, progressive harmonies. As strongly determined as devoted, Paul Van Dyk has pushed beyond production, making the famous soundtrack for ‘Zurdo’, winning the Mexican Oscar in March 2004. In addition, his works with EA Games have added to the diversity of his profile.
With his popularity in constant growth and with more than 3 million albums sold worldwide, his followers are still hungry for more. Outside of his countless shows around the world, he still airs one of the world’s most listened to podcasts; ‘Paul van Dyk: VONIC Sessions’, featuring his own music and that from other highly ranked artists.
In addition to being recognised as one of the world’s greatest producers, he stands even higher with heart-stopping performances in front of huge crowds. 2008’s New Years Eve in Rio De Janeiro is one example, with Van Dyk playing in front of one million people.
But for the last weekend of March, PvD is coming to town for the release of his latest album: Evolution. With many years of experience, Paul will transmit to the heart of London the Evolution of music. In a venue that he has never played before, the thrills coming from this new experience for both artist and fan go above the usual lofty expectations, making this one of 2012’s standout events.
With Paul’s fans already displaying huge interest in this exclusive performance, make sure you register today at www.pvdlondon.com to gain priority access to ‘pre-sale’ tickets and you will also receive an exclusive EVOLUTION preview track for free!
