We follow Lunice’s dayglo bass works with something a whole lot darker, as Ghosting Season reveal one of our most anticipated mixes to date.
Formally known as worriedaboutsatan, Gavin Miller & Thomas Ragdale had been exploring the outward-facing worlds of techno and electronica for a number of years on albums such as 2009′s ‘Arrivals’ and their self-titled 2006 debut.
Unveiling their new project as Ghosting Season earlier this year, the new work from this Leeds-based production team still trawls through the deep, dark recesses of atmospheric electronic music, yet takes time to consider the dancefloor, piecing together brooding body movers, as expertly displayed in this years ‘Far End of the Graveyard’ EP.
Their Hyp mix sees the duo work their way through current names like James Blake, Ramadanman, Mosca and more, yet it’s the manner in which they place these straight club tracks with the more unruly fare from Daggereyess, Nine Inch Nails and Spherix that makes this mix really stand out. This is club music with real depth.
