After the blissed out meanderings of last weeks Lapalux mix, we thought it was time for something a little bit harder, so who better to call on than one of modern bass musics most meticulous producers, the one they call Reso.
Having created his unique style of all encompassing bass music from the ashes of real breaks and the early breeding grounds of dubstep, the London producer walks the line between hi-tech slabs of rave (2009′s anthem-bating ‘If You Can’t Beat ‘Em’), deep musicality and intricate bass mutations that has seen him lay waste to a myriad of established electronic genres.
Currently holed up in the studio putting the finishing touches to his debut album, the man himself took time out to put together a 45 minute mix of next level drum & bass. Stand back – this one hits hard.
It’s Reso – what more do you need to know?
