After the storming success of the first session in the Basement at The City Arts & Music Project, Reggae Roast are back for another night of Roots & Culture in the heart of East London. Last months event featured sound system royalty Aba Shanti-i alongside the full crew of resident selectors and MCs. It was an amazing first night in the basement, with an electric atmosphere and positive vibe throughout, setting the tone for the monthly programmed dates to come.
This month we are pleased to welcome two very special guests to the table. Firstly Solution Sound, an inspirational crew from Hackney, renowned for their legendary dances over the past 10 years and secondly Ghetto Priest from the On-U Sound camp.
This second dance at The City Arts & Music Project will continue to blaze a fire throughout the winter months, with an emphasis on big baselines in a welcoming environment.
Hold tight for announcements of some very special guests booked for December and NYE, as Reggae Roast showcase the best artists from across the UK and beyond. This event is only £5 before 12am and capacity is limited to 350 so arrive early for guaranteed entry.

For November’s installment of A Night With…we’re reaching out to one of Germany’s most talented DJs and Cocoon mainstay Tobi Neumann. Neumann will be making pulses rise on the dance floor with his slick and impeccable mixing fused with his renowned track selection all night long. A driving force on the German electronic scene for ten years and signed to Cocoon’s impressive DJ roster, Tobi’s career has emanated from a background that took him from classical music and the piano to playing guitar in several bands in Munich. Tobi then went into the studio as a student and the love affair with all sounds electronic began. After making a name for himself as a producer of commercial jingles and movie soundtracks, he got infected with electronic music at the ’95 Berlin Love Parade where he rapidly turned initial dance music intrigue into a residency at Munich’s Ultraschall II where he’s hosted the legendary Flokati House Club since 1998.
Tobi has played the Berlin Love Parade, Time Warp and May Day festivals in Germany, Cocoon in Ibiza and all the clubs that count world-wide. Now we welcome him to A Night With… to be taken on a magical journey for eights hours, with just Tobi and his music.

About:
Don’t sleep on the last cheap saver tix!
SMD are opening their Delicatessen for business once again for the launch of their new album Delicacies set to be released on the 29th November. On the 26th they will play a very special “Records & Machines” set in a secret London warehouse space, involving an 808, effects, a synth or two and CDJs, supported by JDH and Dave P (Fixed NYC) and Nadia Ksaiba. SMD are an ever-evolving musical experiment that threatens to take over the world. Their outstanding production skills have cemented them firmly on the musical map and led to remixes for bands such as Air, The Kills, Ladytron and The Departure as well as gracing the decks with the likes of LCD Soundsystem and Tiefschwarz. They’re regulars at Fabric, Manchester’s Warehouse Project, and have stolen the show across the globe at Sonar in Barcelona, Weekend in Berlin and Ultra Music Festival in Miami.
The Delicatessen label has already seen a string of events from Simian, where they have curated and hosted live shows at a variety of venues around the world, offering a selection of the finest techno, electro and dubstep morsels from a huge line-up handpicked by the boys themselves. Celebrating the launch of their new album, this party is really going to be something a bit special and worth being part of.

This November, the 9th edition of House Party brings with it a return to the 4am license which means more late-night messiness. Yes yes! The line-up is also tantalisingly bass heavy as we welcome the mighty AC Slater, all the way from Brooklyn, NYC! If you’re not down with AC yet, check him out. His electro meets dubstep meets downright, ridiculously dirty deep bass style never ever fails to kick a party off. Bass face at the ready! Support comes from Urban Nerds boys Rattus Rattus & Klose One with their usual no holds barred take on underground UK beats and blips, plus future bass and D&B from Chew The Fat! hot tip, Randomer! There’s also big bad electro house from our pal Savage Henry, with Nerds fam Daddy Nature warming things up for the early birds with UK hip-hop, reggae and dubstep. Not half bad for a fiver!

The UK bass label Infrasonics presents special guest Altered Natives at its East London warehouse rave. The bruk step don and twisted house master joins label boss spatial and the Infrasonics artists XXXY, Gon and Jamie Grind plus friendly support given by Wifey DJs.
fabric’s Saturday nights showcase underground DJ talent, internationally-renowned electronic music legends, and accomplished live acts. Its playlists are dedicated to cutting-edge house, techno, electro, disco, dub-techno…and anything else that fits within the confines of the night’s future-forward and ever-evolving programming. fabric’s weekly residents are Craig Richards and Terry Francis every Saturday. Craig is also involved in programming the night, frequently inviting artists from all over the world to perform.
